Crytek ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up real bad here
Don't see a problem with that at all dude.
And how many poeple are able to get lvl 50 hunters all day long while playing normally? Right...
You´ve to grind PvE to do so instead of risking to die in PvP, not to mention that it takes way longer than the usual lvl 25 retirement. Being unable to retire early AND getting way less XP from it, is nonsense.
But hey, i guess you and Duncan are best friends since you seem to defend any sheet crytek does.
Currently I have 292 maxed out hunters in total, since I'm Prestige 100 I do have 74 of them at the same time maxed out and only play with the 75th hunter until he dies, regardless if I could retire him or not. Getting a hunter on level 50 isn't hard. You can max them out even if you do PvP in this game, sure you don't win all the time but you'll get them to level 50 eventually, it's just a matter of time.
If I really would want to focus it I'd probably manage to get at least 5 or 6 hunters to level 50 per day, easily. But since I rather keep playing with the same hunter over and over until he dies I "only" have 292 maxed out hunters so far. This number could be way over 600 by now already, but there's no benefit in increasing that number.
My question remains: Why retire a hunter anways? You get way more xp if you keep playing with a level 50 hunter. If you're dying that often you maybe should try a bit harder to win your matches. Complaints about retiring only being able on level 50 hunters literally cries skill issue, just saying dude.
And I never talked much with Duncan, so far I do agree with a lot of his opinions, yes. But since he is from the US and I'm from Europe we're probably not playing together at all, so there's no benefit to become friends.
And I don't defend anything crytek does, there are some things that they could improve or change, but this is such a small change that it really doesn't make much sense to complain about it, especially since it's more beneficial to keep playing with a maxed out hunters, I mentioned the gains from that already multiple times.
Who the fck is talking about you?
It´s like the pointless walls of text in the other thread, where it is so easily to you to go for 2-3 lobby wipes and the level 50 hunters.
Again... IT`S NOT POSSIBLE FOR THE AVERAGE PLAYER!
And also again... NOT EVERYONE MAKES IT TO 50+ WITHOUT PURE PVE GRIND, SO RETIRE THEM AT 25 IS THE WAY TO GO!
And it doesn´t matter if the system could´ve been there from beginning, we actually had a system working within a decent amount of time.
Dunno why you defend this sheet with irrelevant claims. This change is pointless and just a big kick into every players nuts who isn´t noliving Hunt.
Says enough i guess. Fanboyism is real.
If I would talk about you I could only make assumptions and that is something that I don't want to do if possible. So obviously I can only describe it from my pov, no?
Not possible for the average player? I do disagree with you there. A friend of me that I play with mostly is average and he is easily able to get level 50 hunters consistently. But since I shouldn't talk much about myself I'll talk about you instead. Since you cry a lot about redundant things I assume that you're not the average player, you're most likely below average. At least that's what I think when I read your replies.
Yeah the system we had was working within a decent amount of time, but the developers decided that this isn't the way they want the game to be played, so they made adjustements. Just because you dislike them doesn't mean that the developers have no right to change existing systems. We had a quickswitch mechanic that we don't have anymore because the developers think that it doesn't fit the game. I really liked this mechanic back then, because everybody would be able to pull it off at excatly the same speed and all that. But it makes sense that when the developers think it doesn't fit the gameplay of the game that it should get taken away. Of course I was sad about this change as well, but games do change over time. It's their game after all, if you're that mad about these changes you should probably switch games or learn to chill, because crying about so much about pointless things surely isn't healthy dude.
They also changed the amount of ammo you can get from an ammo box. Back then you could get up to 5 or 6 long ammo bullets out of an ammo box, now it's limited to 2 bullets maximum. These are examples on how the developer changes things up to make the game either more fair, fit the theme better or for other balance reasons, maybe even just personal reasons. Whatever it is, they do it with some intention and we as players should learn to accept them (unless it's some super broken mechanic or stuff like that). But being able to retire a hunter only at level 50? Dude that's not that important to start crying in the forum, just saying.
I'm not fanboying. Just because I do agree with someone doesn't mean I'm a fanboy. I just recently agreed with an idea from someone that I only disagreed with to that point. Am I now a hater because I always disagreed except one time? Or did I become a fanboy because finally one idea didn't suck as much as the others? Don't know what's wrong with your head, but you should get that checked. And thinking logically isn't your strength either, so good luck with that.
Why would I want to put myself through an unholy grind for only skins, then have to unlock every gun again and not being able to selects wanted traits because of blood rank is even more pointless. I want the best advantage in gun fight and the most fun. Some love to grind and that's fair but that's not for me.
There was no incentive other than "press the button and lose all progress" they made it a little better now.. but waiting 50+ lvls to unlock stuff you want to use sucks ass.. now it's a little better. I actually started to prestige again now that I can use the weapons I want from the get.. still those losing all the ammo and variant progress sucks..
All of my live hunters are at 50 atm yet im a lvl 100 and it doesnt benefit me at all, I just started prestieging again but im stopping since theres no point right now, it lasted so short xĐ
