Is there a way to unlock the Plague doctor skin that isn't just 2000/20 dollars worth of blood bonds?

The new plague doctor skins are cool but holy bajeesus. 20 dollars? Specially when i only even want the male one. Is there anyway to get just a single one for 1k blood bonds or earn it somehow? Since that is insane

Technically you can farm bloodbonds from weeklies, so if you don't ever buy a battlepass and do every weekly challenge you'll have enough in around 40 weeks!

Fr though crytek if you're gonna keep hiking up the price of bb hunters bring back earnable blood bonds cause this is bs. Even with earnable this would be a good month of grinding at least.

2 skins and a weapon set skin... ok its still expensive but its not just 1 skin

I wish they were seperate also, but I kinda get it. They want to keep them bundled in hopes you will spend more money; and also to keep things "Uniform" as all the other dual skins have been sold together.

$20 for some cosmetics is about the market rate though. While I agree cosmetics are overpriced; I feel like we have to go after EVERY live service game for that, not just Hunt.

No its not uniform, theres no reason for them to be sold together. This is the first bundled bb hunter, the only other ones that I can think of is The Viper(Event), Frau Perchta(DLC), and The Scourge(DLC). This is like selling the Hawkshaw Jack and Private Eye together fo 2k and calling it "The Pinkertons."

As for $20 market rate, sure it's true. It shouldnt be.

You aren’t getting the Plague Doctor skin, that’s exclusive to us players that grinded hard for it, you think these events are hard now, it was 10x worse back then.

While I disagree with the first of that, I gotta admit the investigators, even though they are older, does poke a hole in that argument.
They do tend to want to keep them together to make you spend more though, so that is a reason even if you don't like it.

I also agree cosmetics should not be so expensive, but for whatever reason, people will pay it so they charge it.

Thor, the ex blizzard dev, said that the one sparkle horse skin in WoW sold more/made more money than all of Star Craft Wings of Liberty ever did.

Yep if people keep on buying them, then it's logical from a business standpoint to create more and increase prices.

Gaming companies must be pishing themselves laughing at the standard gaming model now.

Let's add some clothes and features to this stick figure model and charge $10 a go if you had said 20 years ago that gaming would head in this direction you would have been put in a padded cell.

I really have no issues with anyone buying skins etc as it's their choice and money. I just find it extremely odd as I'm not from this generation of gamers.

I've seen my kids spunk $100s on FIFA Ultimate Team and then the next years release they do the same again.

The only thing I can say I've bought additional to base games were the Expansion Packs for Battlefield 2.

Someone in these threads here posted recently a reply that he got directly from crytek support. The reply said that all skins will be available once again (even Plague Doctor) but the developers don't know exactly when or in what kind of way (Twitch Drop, Questline, obtainable via blood bonds etc). So you will get your chance to get him eventually, you just have to be patient about it.
