For the love of God, revert the weapon-unlocking back to level-based!
Honestly it's no longer fun to just play a game where everyone is running a Mosin/dolch combo constantly. There is no "risk" in leveling up anymore.

All the last major update did was make it easier to have a constant moneyflow and basically just a dumbing down of loudout picks as a whole.

Why even have Sparks, Martini-Henry or Springfield in the game anymore? Nobody uses the "low tier" guns when you can have a Mosin from the get-go. What's the point of having every single gun unlocked at level 1 if a vast majority of those guns are not viable or even remotely useful?

Me and my mates who I play with are just not enjoying the "grind" of leveing up anymore, or what the gameplay has become. It's not remotely fun when there is no challenge or looking forward to unlocking certain weapons.

Reason for mosin/dolch/nitro everywhere is the vastly increased money gain. Most people didn't prestige before and had access to all weapons anyway. But now even the worst players have essentially infinite money.

Exactly. Which is a huge problem in of itself. It's easy to choose not to prestiege because it gives you nothing more than a different icon for you. And the only person who cares about that in the end is you. So we end up with people who's been at level 100 for 50 hours with 50 000 hunt dollars in their current prestiege and no need or carrot to actually prestiege. And if they do presteige due to low money, there is no "risk" of losing the guns you currently have access to. It's just become such a swamp of people playing with whatever gun they want with no limitaitons. So of course most people are just gonna stay on their prestiege since you're basically just throwing money away by not doing so.

At least create a viable and real incentive for people to actually prestiege, because at this point there is litterally none.

On top of that I think that the low playercount we're experiencing right now is honestly due to these changes being made to the game. Sure the playercount will jump everytime there is a new event going on and new unlocks to achieve. But as we can see, what used to be a pretty stable playercount has decreased now that this event has dragged out for so long, and I do believe it is because of the recent changes out loadouts and weapon unlocks has made people think;
"oh what weapon does the most damage and is the most viable at the moment, oh okay I'll use that one since I have all the money I need and I dont need to worry about getting low on it"

There is no risk vs reward anymore.

I think this is a good thing. I always prestige so its pretty nice now to not have to run a winfieldc with a baseball bat and 4 weak vitality shots against people who never prestige and were gonna have a mosin with a dolch regardless. I think the real problem is the ease with which you can make money in this game.

I completely agree with that, but I want to add that making money easily has never been a problem for players that have been somewhat decent.
