False Positive Ban for Cheating. Razer Synapse Keyboard software?

I got a false positive ban for cheating within 24 hours after re-installing Hunt after a year of not playing.

Can anyone speak to mouse or keyboard software being a problem for EAC?

I recently bought a new $250 Razer keyboard and installed the Razer Synapse Beta software. iCue is also running for a Corsair mouse I purchased 6 months ago, otherwise, nothing has changed since I last played Hunt a year or so ago.

I assumed any factory software from a big manufacturer wouldn't be an issue, especially since the keyboard seems to have enhancements for Hunt Showdown (LEDs turn blue in dark sight).

I've played for almost 1200 hours since around 2018 and am 4 MMR. I can't prove to anyone here I wasn't cheating, other than to tell you I wasn't, or if it was a legit tag it was through factory Razer keyboard software I had no clue was outlawed.

I appealed at EAC and Crytek. Saw another post today of someone also saying they were banned. Also on west coast, so there were lots of server issues prior to the crash and being told I was banned.

As someone pointed out, I was unbanned this morning. Crytek themselves (not EAC) got around to the ticket. I've asked for clarification on what caused the false positive. Thanks to all who made productive comments and were supportive and non-prejudicial.

This is the full response from Crytek Support (through their messenger on their website). It took them 3 days to respond.

We had a look at your case, and indeed it seems you were affected by a false positive.
Your ban was already removed shortly after, and hope that you can now get back to playing the game without issues.

Also as to the comment on macros convey no advantage, I was told by a friend that people have used macros to exploit the avto to be no recoil. As to enforcement level on macro programs (kick or ban) I don't know.

Also the comments saying we know it wasn't Synapse, that's not true either. Cause for my ban is still unknown. Not all bans are real cheating and not all real cheaters get banned. Saying "we know it can't be this" is like saying there's no speed limit because the cop didn't pull you over, and with EAC the speed limits are secret.

Congratulations on getting unbanned, my friend just got banned by mistake, and this happened right after the Razer software update. Please tell me where you went to contact crytek? We wrote to them on the website, in the lower right corner through the appeal

and make an account on Crytek's website. Then you should be able to chat or appeal if I remember correctly? I appealed twice a day every day on Easy Anti Cheats site because they don't deserve to get away with false bans. If they want to be annoying- be annoying back. Hope he gets unbanned because its simple ridiculous they want to ruin good games on a cheap anti cheat program.

Your right, we can't tell you cheated or not. Only Crytek can do that and they won't tell the community anything about what they do against cheaters. So if you were banned it was for some program you have running that is blacklisted.
