Edit: Reading apparently bans can be delayed. People report getting banned while not even actively playing.
For example, during the 10 games I made one of the luckiest BS shots on a high level soul survivor player.
First shot Nagant Officer from like 50m, headshot where the opponent could probably not see me sitting still in mud in shadow, then they barely poked the top of their head through a window at Reeker. They may not even have been able to see out the window and it hit the top of their scalp.
In retrospect, that person could have thought I was cheating, but it was just outrageously lucky. RNG was strong. They may have reported me.
all these Anti-Cheat works very similar way, everything is whitelisted other than stuff that is known and it will be blacklisted. VPN software will also not trigger any bans.
you can contact their support and they will tell you why you were banned.
1. VAC Ban (by Valve)
2. GAME ban (by devs, EAC etc...)
