Trying to do my part to keep the game alive, but it is quickly turning into a 1337 twitch quickswap murdering whiteshirts fest that I want no part of. Add the bugs and patches that break things frequently, and its not looking too good.
If you havent found out in 40hrs+... not sure what to say..
Here, hold my pocket.
People come, enjoy the game until matchmaking feeds them to the wolves, get frustrated and soon after leave the game.
Change something? Naaaah, the devs Discord buddies are having a good time.
Even an optional "tighter" matchmaking with a little waiting time involved seems to be absolutely not managable for them - because they want their prey and they want it fast.
Not exactly. It makes sure newcomers total newcomers have enough fun to
1. Do not refund
and
2. Leave postive feedback
Mostly 30-40hours, maybe around 1st prestige.
After that... Cannon fodder
Jup. And it fails to keep players because they get smoked over and over again. Which leads to frustration... You can't let "normal" people play against professional players in a game like this.
Someone who plays a few hours a week simply can't compete with someone who plays twice the time every single day.
People leave as fast as they come. Which is a shame. It's such a great game..

very often I hear the words that KDA is not important, prestige is not important, total score is not important.
in fact, all these statistics fully represent the skill level of the player.
in the overwhelming number of cases:
high score = the player will not get lost in the compounds.
knows the locations of player spawns, AIs and sound traps.
high KDA = the player hears the enemy clearly.
distinguishes between camouflage or clothing against the background of the environment.
accustomed to the speed of the bullets. knows the meta. understands the differences between weapons.
knows how to keep angles.
knows where wallbang is possible.
and by itself knows how to use quickswap
the number of enemies killed (AND ALSO THE NUMBER OF DEATH) = a lot of experience in pvp (variety of situations).
large number of boss kills = learned boss behavior patterns.
chances of dying from AI are minimal.
newcomers are thrown to the real animals.
they're just whipping boys for game patrons and hooting streamers.
I mostly play with random and rarely skip the lobby.
from these statistics, I understand which player should I help and give advice using voice chat.
I mean, beginners don't know how to act in a lot of situations. they get scared and get pinched in corners.
and their opponents from the pre-assembled teams instantly react to threats and are coordinated through a third-party VOIP.
