WHEN. IS. THE. AUDIO. BUG. GETTING. FIXED. Communicate with your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ playerbase for crying out loud.
If I were them this would NOT encourage me to reach out to you. Good thing they are professionals at dealing with people... and not me.
Have you tried tech support friend?
By the way, Hunt is completely playable here. We are not all effected apparently. Might want to mention that when you give them the details. It could be a clue to the source of the problem.
Could be something else, but this didn't feel like the normal 'to many sounds goin on, overload'. As you suggested, heres not the place to fix it, just to mention it. Though, pretty sure Crytek knows about it cause I have seen a increase in noise related threads in the past few days.
Cheers mate, glad that I'm not the only one thinking that way.
What is your logic there?
If it is good for friends... Then why is it not good for randoms?
If it works well enough for friends. Why should we exclude randoms? Its not like they are different things here... they are both "players"...
How do you see that making sense?
First point, you cannot abuse it. It abuses YOU.
But for the sake of the argument lets say you can.
Are you suggesting its ok for friends to abuse it but not randoms? What kind of justice is that? No one should abuse it if it is abusable.
However, denying friends/randoms to play together in the hopes to stop some bad apples isn't a answer ether. there is a fine line that should be acceptable ping..... my thought would be 150-200ms range.
Again, new engine and faster servers I think would be the best all around fix. No expert though on these things.
People with friends abroad can also explicitly abuse the system by getting friends from different regions on purpose so they can use it. It doesn't have to be fun in the first place for everyone, just saying.
But nontheless I could also get myself a VPN and access a region that I'd normally be locked out of, you can always find a way to get around your problem. If you want to have an advantage or misbehave you'll find ways to do so.
Yes a VPN per se doesn't lower your ping, but you can tell the servers that you are located at oceania even though you aren't and it will therefore give you the possibility to play on said server even though your ping limit is exceeded.
Nobody said anything about closing our eyes, did we? I just told you that some of your ideas have flaws, some are not that easy to do in general and that talking to the devs here in this discussion thread is pointless, you'd need to go to their discord. So where exactly did I say close your eyes and just let it be the way it is? Damn I even said that deranking needs to be adressed.
What is the problem we are supposed to see here?
The three stars are playing with 5 stars... what would you expect?
Its the team score that matters friend.
*shrugs*
That is not how the MM system works. I don't know why you would expect it to do that. MM is a balance between search time, fairness, and population size. You can't have it all, all the time.
I am sure the three star was not surprised to find another 5 star in his match.... you know... because he is playing with one.
With that new understanding, you are even 4* to one group and actually ranked higher on two other teams, as they are 3.5*. Can't see the top team, but i imagine more/less the same.
