which one is better/do you prefer? and why do i keep hearing about people complaining about the slugs?

regular buckshot with uppermat for extra ammo. now have the option of drilling shorty for extra ammo too.

Slugs have consistent oneshot range. Penny is super inconsistent due to volatile rng.

Slugs on the C&K is basically a worse short range rifle. Might as well get the drilling for that niche.
