Nobody Wants Aim Assist On PC

In their latest video they said "currently only on consoles". Do NOT add it to PC and make same mistake that ruined so many pc titles.

It's ruined so many games. Bloodhunt and splitgate aren't even worth playing if you aren't using or simulating controller for aim assist. Lost all desire to play them even tho they're rly fun games cuz controller users just take full auto and perfectly perma autolock on you since the first milsecond you are in their view for even a pixel and you are dead in a second.
There isn't a single game where aim assist helped playerbase grow in any way.
In fact, often quite the opposite.

And, no, before some tvvats come and say hurr durr just gitgud u have advantage. Lol. No. I've been in top few % of playerbase in multiple games before and seen and experienced many fights again aim assist on pc version as so have my friends and many other. No one with a brain would want controller aim assist brought to PC unless they seperate the lobbies for only exclusively aim assist and exclusively without aim assis which can't and won't happen cuz hunt is lacking players to fill lobbies as it is.

Both bloodhunt and splitgate were filled with ppl enjoying fun and fair gameplay loop and both are now basically dead. Rapidly declined after introduction of controller aim assist on PC even though everyone and their mother complained on every possible forum about it being too powerful. And I've heard from couple of friends that destiny, halo, cod apex are barely any different which most online seem to agree as well.

This isn't some goose chase wild theory bs. You can both see and experience this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for yourself. Not only that but there's plenty of ways to emulate controller aim assist whilst using keyboard and mouse so everyone can have lite aimbot on kb&m without actually downloading or paying for hacks.

Not to mention how getting sniped behind foliage would become and even more apparent thing since ppl wouldn't need to look but just scan the bushes and trees with their crosshairs.

A human can not react within 1ms time window like aim assist can. The amount of skill you need to abuse it, at least in games i've tried personally, is ridiculous. Hunt, altho fun and somewhat balanced game, alrdy has it's fair share of problems. But this, mark my words, this will be the final and only nail in coffin it needs. I love the game and would hate to see it die such a miserable death as have so many others. And those alive are predominantly ruled by aim assist users to point you might as well do it yourself instead of trying hard to aim with kb&m.

Consoles are ruining fps gaming. Movement there is slow and when they create game on multi platform this slow movement is implicated to PC version. Also it is the same code so cheater don't need to be good with making cheat.

Refunded Halo because of this.
Realized every fight was a near trade and was never overly stomping anyone or getting stomped.
Was like "why is everyone so evenly skilled with me?".
"How am I, a totally new player, keeping up with everyone so well?"
The answer was the game has aim assist AND bullet magnetism.
Nope, refunded, not fun.

This would be really catastrophic... I dunno really what's happening at the moment... like those bearded guy told they will introduce weapon inspection feature, I never heard a single person asked for it. It's like wasting resources for non sense instead of focusing on real things people asking for... like new maps... I know it's all on the road map, but they could speed up the process when they pool resources instead of wasting it on non sense nobody ever asked for.

Remember a game called Hyperscape? Probably not cause it died within 6 months due to Aim Assist for controller being Aimbot. Then you also had the hackers who would code the aim assist to work with mouse and keyboard. It's always a bad idea.

Its the mark of greedy lazy devs too they already went through 2 bankruptcies this will certainly do it again to them if they go through with implementing such a feature that is killing current Gen COD games.

I dont mind if they implement aim assist on pc controllers. Because its the day i will stop playing. Same with crossplay.

I mean, if they think it helps them getting more players or is the direction they want to go, boy lets go then. I wont take this ♥♥♥♥.

So OP the tweet you are referemcing is talking about the general changes, and was from September.

They do clarify in the video specifically on aim assist, that it currently is only for console players. Odds are it will stay that way as long as people make it clear they don't want it on PC.

So everything seems like it is going to be just fine, at least so far.

Guess cheating doesn't do much for learning reading comprehension.. sad.
Aim assist != the strength of the controller.
If anything the fact that controller = needs aim assist, proves the point.

I'm hype for aim assist. Finally something I can turn on that will help make my shots land against those pesky six stars this game likes to match me up against when I'm four stars at best.
