If you mean you've set up a macro so that when you press Q it'll act like you're holding W+Shift then I would assume that won't cause any trouble. As far as the game is concerned you're just pressing those keys.
Also, I happen to use PowerToys to remap a couple of things on my keyboard(for things outside of Hunt) and it's never given me any trouble so I don't see how it'd cause you any.
As for things like that in other games, it always depends on each game. You definitely need to check with the support team and not just the community about what works or doesn't work. But we are pretty sure, if you want an auto-run in Hunt, you either wait for them to implement it, or you don't do it because you might be banned.
Any answer here is pure opinion and can change at any moment. Case in point, Re-shade, longest time it was legal then it wasn't for very clear and obvious reasons.
The way I read that line is, Crytek can at anytime black list any app they see fit. Hell, even Re-shade was allowed verbally by a Crytek dev at one point. So even if they say its good to use today, doesn't mean it will be a month or two later.
Can only thank the A-hole children that have to cheat/exploit everything to get a unfair advantage in a video game for making stuff like this so dang annoying.
Anything other than the two ways listed above I'd be wary of. There's simply just not a way to tell what's going to set off red flags for EAC or not.
I'm assuming you're meaning the key between the Windows and Ctrl button on the right side. That's usually the Function (Or "Fn") key. Only way to use/rebind that would be to edit it through your keyboards software like I mentioned above. I have a Steelseries and I can just straight up change it to act as another key.
If you're really hellbent on using that part of your keyboard, you could also try rebinding movement to Home(Forward), Del(Left), End(Back), and Pg Dn(Right) which should be right above your arrow keys. That would move your hand up and you'd have more re-bindable keys to work with to the left.
