Hunt has cheaters like any other game. However having played tarkov and The cycle frontier. We don't have it anywhere near as bad as those games do.

Tarkov will have speed hacks, ESP and aimbot in about 50% of lobbies at least the last time i played which was around March.

The Cycle frontier the cheaters would legit be flying in the sky doing all of the above. Or hitting you with a pickaxe for 1 billion damage. This game had completely unchecked cheating problem and maybe for the whole year that game was alive had 2-3 months where it wasn't too bad.

I have to admit I'm starting to wonder what is happening to the game lately. Putting aside the matchmaking issue. (I'm a 3 star constantly against 5 stars) but after 600 odd hours of playing I'd say before last night I had come across maybe two blatant hackers. Last night alone we came across two in different matches. I'm not talking about kills that feel dodgy I'm talking the real deal. The first time our entire team died within 10 seconds to a headshot from a dolsch. When we spectated the guy he was firing his gun through terrain and getting kills. Checking him out after the match he was a level 11 with a kd of 24.
The second match my team mates were in the main building in Upper Desalle and they were rushed. I was in the back courtyard at the time and went through the side gate and crouch walked along it to try to get to the front and come in behind them. And got killed by dynamite. I checked the kill cam. It was thrown from inside the building. Halfway up the stairs. He through it up the stairs, out the window, across the back yard and over the wall to land at my feet. Either the worlds luckiest throw or another cheater..
I've always dismissed all these people claiming cheaters every other match but after last night I'm starting to wonder.

Yep me and my partner got killed by a guy who was jump spinning headshot from a window him and his partner were private profiles

2 games in a row watched a team of private profile prestige 0 usually all under rank 20 wipe the whole server

400 hours and just 3 times I can say 100% it was a cheater. People have called me a cheater on my profile. For me this is a game where cheaters isnt a big problem. Ive just started playing scum and the problem they have is alot worse. Don't know what servers you're on but on eu servers its not a big issue. Unless you have video of something or proof then just don't. Get better. Audio is key in this game.

This game has many cheaters, but many players lack the experience to understand what kind of cheats they use. We're talking about wall hacks, ESP, not all cheaters use blatant things, but wall hack is used by a lot of Hunt: Showdown players. You can even tell by watching well-known streamers; they do ridiculous things and always aim at the right moment, even when there are no reference sounds...
