both playstyles are playable, but one is like playing dark souls without weapon and second one is like playing it with cheats.

that's how balanced hunt is

so you can NOT land a headshot on a hunter in closecombat that cant deal dmg to you with his shotgun on long range? sounds like a skill issue to me^^ :)

sound like pure math and logic, so seems like a IRL skill issue for U

shotgun from 10m is 99% one-shot with 1/3 screen to aim(about 690k pixels to choose from)

rifle is 50% one-shot from 10m, because it all depends if server worked with 15hz or 30hz this time + if guy was 20 PING or 150 (about 1k pixels to hit, ~ head size, which is 690x less chance that for shotgun)

so if u are playing shotgun only or rifle only with same skill level, U will kill 690 more often with a shotgun

dominates as long as u have patience to wait 40 minutes for campers to exit their corners?

game is fullfilled with people which got rekt in CS2, while they were only "holding angles", so they came to Hunt where holding angles is 101% success with always one-shot shotguns

works exactly way too well for a FPS game(just look at CS2, where spread is so bad, that U can't kill anyone above 4-5m)

You're math is missing the z-axis, where the shotgun only one shots in the distance that only about 18% of fights take place. You have 82% of your environment to use to do something about it before that happens. If they are camping in the bounty building. Don't go in. They have to go through you to get to extraction or they die and get no bounty. Jiggling to fake peek corners to bait a shot from a camper isn't easy, not just the top 5% of players would do it if it was.

I had to put in like 300+ hours before I started being regularly successful. I only recently got 400 more total kills than deaths and im at 1000 hours.
Players with KDA of 2 or more are unicorns or cheaters. It is extremely common, and stupidly easy. I legit had a friend who met someone who taught him a wall hack. I was kinda mad he didn't tell me about it before we grouped up but how he described it it was easy pz. Something to do with hard disk drives and deleting the texture maps for buildings and trees. I had to constantly tell him how to walk around walls he couldn't see.

Listen. I get it. We all do: It's mad annoying every once in awhile since the games go for 25~ ish minutes average just to waste all that time from some ding dong who won't leave his comfy corner, or just being headshot from over 100m by a conversion pistol while you were cycling after you saw them first and hit the first surprise shot.

Have you ever used the shotguns? I swear to god I'll punch my monitor if I ever use one again and it tells me I hit %25 of the pellets in their leg and arm yeah ♥♥♥♥♥♥ right.
No joke I once had a Drilling rifle, point blank, instant I turned a corner, the death report tells me 20% of the pellets hit entirely on their head and did 80 damage or something else stupid. ♥♥♥♥ that.
If you wait out enough concertina castle campers they eventually realize they have been spending over 40 minutes at a time walking around a building doing absolutely nothing, wasting their dark sight boost, waiting... and waiting... doing nothing. Just to have time run out and they die or they make a dash for the exit and you kill them. All that time sitting around staring at a door for nothing. They paid real money they earned to do that. They're stupid but do nothing to get nothing enough times and things start to click.
I had a get an additude with me cause I asked him if his double hunting bow concertina loadout strategy was fun for him. buddy, pal, I am 3 star because I mostly play solo, I'm here just cause I've been having some bad luck with it and wanted something different but my dude, my brother in allah; my kda is double what yours is I have 10x the hours that you do and your getting ♥♥♥♥♥♥ with me as if you know better? So I walked through his concertina to the extract, back again, back to extract, back again then did 2 laps around madonna chapel just to ♥♥♥♥ with him before I got killed trying to team up with the Cain who was besieging us/him. Who was alone and therefore outnumbered after his two teammates had died btw but he was still holding it down like an OG. put an lol in chat after I responded with "Let them??" Even the third on our team said "This is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ boring lol"

Shotgun spread is much tighter than crosshair range. It is around 20% in the center.
