Queuing for a 3Person with only 2 people in party / Invite to Party option following match

There are a couple things I was interested in as far as possible QOL improvements or changes concerning matchmaking and the lobby party system.

1) I think it would be a great feature to allow for, if you only have one friend on and playing rather than two, 2 people to hop in a squad together and then queue up for the 3-Person matches so that you can fill that third slot. As it stands currently, I find it rather annoying that you are sort of firewalled into either (1a) only running a 2 Person Duos match, or (1b) forced to try to queue at the same time as your friend in the hopes that the server gods smile upon you and place you together with a random third. I can't really imagine a scenario where this would necessarily be a disadvantage to either your third teammate, or to other 3 person squads so I'm unclear why it's not been implemented already.

2) Another aspect of the gameplay that seems like it should already be implemented, and which sort of ties in to the first point, is the process of trying to play with other people that you played a match with already. Instead of requiring that you add that person to your Steam Friends list in order for it to even be possible to join up with them, I think it would be an improvement to simply have an option to "invite to squad" so you could just join back in to a person's lobby, rather than crowding your friend list with people. Alternatively, there could be an option to do an "invite to lobby" if you can type out their name, but that seems like it would prove less accurate than just allowing for people to "squad up," as it were. This also feeds in to the first point because, oftentimes, I find that even if both teammates answer in the affirmative that they want to play again, you invite both, and one will accept the friend request and join, but the other person basically just ghosts you and doesn't answer, doesn't accept the FR, nothing; so you are stuck with one person that you can't queue with unless you want to run duos, which is annoying as all hell.

1 Is a pretty good solution. I know people who click in the morning hours start button after countdown of 3,2,1, go. It is not difficult to have your friend and a random player in a team if servers are not as much occupied.
