@O.P.
It looks like a congestion issue if it comes and goes like that. Congestion on the route your data is taking is my guess.
I suggest you check what has been said about it on the Official Hunt discord channels. It has been discussed much there and even commented on by Crytek staff. In once case I can remember they specifically said some ISPs in the EU were having problems of this kind.
One possible solution that was presented was using a VPN to get your data to take a different route.
You can probably find out more if you run a search there.
Is problem on my side, how is it that US server has lower ping than EU server? I live in the EU.
Your problem is likely not on your side, or in your direct control (except for the VPN idea).
The problem is likely between you and the server.
Now im in Hunt Showdown and my ping is 290.
??
This is good advice. And where I would start myself.
Yeah, as he said. Its most likely routing. the routing one game takes will not be the same as another. So you would expect that behavior.
This crap only happens at certain hours though. I dont know anything about how stuff works and this game is literally the only one giving me this bs
EU Server IP is. 178.162.195.223
Ping it and also do a trace route.
Minimum = 285ms, Maximum = 294ms, Average = 289ms
I also have the trace result but i dont know what to do with it
I would get the address from Crytek support. That way you know it is correct.
They can also help you run a trace and interpret the results.
You can see here this person did the same.
strange thing is, me and my friends never need this the last 25 years..
That turns out not to be the case.
And it is not the first time I have heard of it.
