[SOLVED] Can I get banned in Hunt if I buy a Twitch account with old drops and get the old skins?
I don't care if I can get scammed or if it's not worth it, I want to know if I can get banned in Hunt for doing this.

Basically I have found that on G2G they sell twitch accounts with unclaimed drops exclusively for Hunt and that if you link it to your Steam account it gives you the old drops.

In case you're asking, I have ALL the drops except Steel Eyed (literally my favorite skin in the game) and seeing as Lulu still hasn't returned after two years, I don't want to wait years for Steel Eyed.

PS: I already asked this on reddit but didn't get a very concrete answer.

UPDATE:

[CRYTEK'S SUPPORT RESPONSE]

Hello ********,
Thanks for your report.
No, this is not against our rules, however we would strongly advice against doing it; it won't cause you to be banned, but there would be a good chance to be scammed from it, or that the drops are already claimed on another account.
We hope that this answers your question, and if you have any other doubts or feedback we are here for you.

Best regards.

How do plan on linking the accounts? The stuff has probably already been claimed.

In the publication they show a screenshot with the unclaimed prizes. Like I said, I don't mind being scammed, he asks for $9 for the account and I wouldn't mind losing it to see if it's real. I just want to know if I can be banned in Hunt for this.

you will very likely be scammed there
even tho he has claimed them in twitch if you have not also claimed them by linking the game account and logging in you wont get them due to those expiry dates on claiming.
had same happen to myself sometime with my twitch and game account i got the game itself too late to link it. i did have them claimed to twitch.
oh different game do not remember what it was tho

you should read https://www.huntshowdown.com/eula - IMO, section five is relevant but you should question Crytek directly using their forums or Support.

Apparently, since Lulu's drop, the other drops have no expiration date to claim them, that's why Lulu cannot be obtained currently (that's what the description of the post says)

If they would just stop hiding skins behind fomo. They wouldn't have people willing to risk their accounts on this stuff.

G2G is very reputable and a seller will lose their seller privilege if they scam. Also simply make the purchase via PayPal and you are double covered.

Get scammed and file "Item not as described" via PayPal you will have your money back in hours.

You really have nothing to lose.

Used G2G many many times and never had an issue.

It worked perfectly, a friend and I purchased it. They send you a twitch account and give you the steps to follow to claim the drops. At the time, there were all the twitch drops available except Lulu, now that there was a chance to get Lulu again this year, I don't know how it currently works. But it is definitely not scam.

I kinda agree with this, there is no reason for Crytek to keep the skins locked for years. But at least they give the chance to get them again, in other games these kind of skins never comeback.

PS: you don't risk your account tho, you don't have to put your steam account on that page or anything like that
