Now, I do take issue with the fact they put dum dum on SILENCED weapons.
Well I think it’s ok, makes the weapon somewhat more useful, especially to those who struggle with headshots.
At least for now I wouldn’t call it unbalanced.
I kind of like it, but I respect the opinion. The first shot of dum dum is going to make you bleed out of any gun. Yeah the centennial can follow up pretty quick with second shot, but I think most times that second shot is going to drop you, it won't be the bleed. Springfield already has a strong bleed option, just not the ability to follow up as quickly. Anyway, I don't think the Centennial follow up shot bleed effect has much to do with things, as if you get tapped twice you're likely on the ground unless it was just very long range for the ammo.
Or maybe i'm just missing what you feel is terrible about it. Maybe it's just rifles w/ dum dum in general?
i mean at least its not a lebel with spliter ammo headshoting you from 150m away
and at that range with medium ammo it shouldn't even be doing that much damage (probably 50) unless a headshot (which then you are probably dead) and should be light bleeding
but if it was a lebel splitzer, you would still be a 2 tap to the body at that range (instead of 3) and it makes shots even easier for the sniper
unless your problems is sniper in general (to a degree fair enough) then you are whining about being beaten by someone thats not even using an optimal weapon to even snipe with
nevermind the ammo type slowing down his mussel velocity making it even harder
I hear you. I still think the follow up shot is kind of a non-factor. It's usually going to kill you, so the bleed won't factor in too much. But like I said, I hear you. I like the dum dum in the centennial because it's my favorite gun, but no beef with anyone who doesn't, ya know?
Sure calling drilling slow gun makes me laugh. Man its even faster 2 tap than with cenny. And mostly players who master that fast 2 tap recoil are more on op side than with cenny. Also drilling have shotgun shot, one tap from bleed, and one from buck shot or flachete with less aim it leads to quick death even 30 m. So cenny with dum dum is not op, just became anoying for sure for that reason, and made that gun more useful. Cause cenny previuosly kinnda had no place in game. Compact winfields and veterly were main choises of most players. And anyway cenny over 80m causes only light bleed and dmg drop is huge, even 3 shots even with dum dum over 80m distance dont guarantee a kill. And players have plenty of time to fight it back, managing how light bleed is slow comparing to heavy bleed. Cenny became now only short - midle range quite cheap alrounder, and very good counter against brainless shotguns pushers, just after the 1hit torso kill shotgun range. Now it makes for shot gun lovers just to think twice to push agresivelly or not, out of range. The more powerfull is now shorty silencer version, since they added hv ammo, which is really fast 540m/s, if i remember correctly for silenced gun is more than op, if played correctly. Now you can spam fast bullets and have really nice kills at really longer distace and remain hardly exposed your location to enemy. Its so easier to fight for headshots over longest distances. Check it out and you ll see how silenced shorty with hv is to good now.
