Hunt 1.14 update FLASH changes

Disappointed by the downgrade to the flash bomb. From the animation, it takes 4s before you can throw it! That makes it borderline useless. Anyone close with ears can avoid it or charge you.

Also, the defensive use - sometime you are hit and in bad spot, being chased. FLASH is the only move you can to buy yourself few seconds and run somewhere to heal. That is gone.

I know the community complained a lot about flash. I never had issues with it as it is. I use it and i receive it fair enough myself - but you can always hear the primer and act to some degree.
What is the purpose of a surprise flash if it takes 4 sec to throw? Anyone with ears will hide or charge you.

Will see how this plays out, but disappointed about this change - all else looks great.

Flash bombs completely garbage now - welcome to my world.
The DEVS overreacted on the flash downgrade big time, might as well remove it from game.

get good against something that is objectively broken with no actual counter-play. cope and stay mad, guess that 2KD you have from camping with flashes and frags is about to start crumbling down now that you can't get free kills anymore.

I don't think they nerfed the flashbang enough should be deleted permanently it only rewards bad players. But they are making a step in the right direction.

I've always had issues with the flash, it was always way too short especially for something of the time period, it's range was stupidly massive, half the time I couldn't hear it. Also have epilepsy yet play these games, so the fact I can now hear it being thrown and atleast know to close my eyes is a godsend, I can move my head away from the PC since it's always been a bright ass white full screen flash

Hearing? We're typing you brainless buffoon. Also all I'm seeing is a fool who doesn't understand how the game works in the least, because EVERYONE who plays this game for any amount of time knows that the sound system isn't perfect and sometimes just DOESN'T EVEN PLAY THE SOUND ON YOUR END.

Agreed. I get nerfing it a bit, maybe one shake on it before tossing, but there current state is ridiculous. I do appreciate the white to gray switch though.
