I once had a cry baby like you crying in prox chat about how 'self revive is broken and that you shouldn't be able to do it' after I blasted him almost killing him, when this was the first person I came across that match. His blind hatred for solo revives made him think that a completely different person was the same person... because that's how the game is. You can get third partied at any point and should NEVER assume you have wiped the server or are safe. I heard him fighting that other solo, and waited until I heard the clue being picked up to blast through a wall almost knocking him... and just because I played better he assumed I was the 'necro solo' even though I never once saw the person he was referring to try and get up.
Also you should just always burn bodies anyways... you don't KNOW that's a solo unless you have enhanced darksight... so burning bodies either 1. Forces the solo to play their hand early and revive 2. Forces the 'solos' team to play their hand and try to revive. Either way you have the cards in your hand and the fact that you didn't have time to burn him had NOTHING to do with the fact he was a solo, he could have been a duo and his partner stealth revived him and done the same thing. What happened was you got sloppy, and paid the price.
If you just played smart you wouldn't have been wiped... or maybe you wouldn't have... because guess what some people are just better than you. Necro or Not.
My teammate loves solos, he make K/D on them.

Exactly this... I too love solos 90% of the time... it's free XP and Hunt Dollars... xD also free loot cause each drop is another lootable body.
I've adopted a "burn or run" approach where I do what I can to deal with a given body if I have the consumables or can find nearby lanterns or traps but if I can't find anything I move on quickly. You can also pick up their firearm and use all the bullets (very risky) to give them less options. It's not ideal. But it's often more detrimental to camp the body than it is to try and make a move on the bounty.
The bright side is if you've outplayed them once odds are good you can do it again, especially since they'll have less total HP the second time around. Try to leave sound traps behind you and stay alert.
The game is trending toward being more forgiving to players who get outplayed as the company tries to grow the community beyond the one that gave them early success. Don't expect them to reverse this, there's less money in having a more niche punishing game.
It's crazy that there's no "max" time for solo revive though, and only a minimum lol but then how would solos cheese their way to max level?
As said, solo bodies should be immediately burned or trapped. If you are not thinking ahead, you don't deserve to complain in my opinion. It would only be a problem if there was no counters.
How rude... i'm a 3-4 star but I still burn all the bodies... thaz not nice... don't lump me in with whiners who don't even deserve 3 stars xD
My only other complaint is that the flare pistol can't set dead hunters on fire. Seriously just let me use my flare pistol to start dead hunters on fire so I don't have to search for a lantern just to find out if they're solo.
Crytek seeing this trend went ahead and dumbed the game down a little to cater to the solo crowd and in turn... yes, slowed the gameplay down abit since now, everytime you kill someone you have to wonder if they got a buddy lurking or a solo, with no real easy answer to the new problem.
IMO, solo should have their own lobbies with self necro in it and if they choose to play against teams, should be without self-revive and the extra perks. The player makes a conscious choice to play a team base game and decides to go hardcore mode, why should the server have to give them a special handicap ??
Again though, in the mountain of stuff that is wrong and buggy with the game, solos is near the bottom. A slight problem but not the end all-be all.... unlike the flying bugz!!!!! God, still waiting for bugz to end all of hunt!!!!!!!
