Best loadout for solo runs?

I play trios a lot and i wanna try going solo, tired of playing with console players (no offense tho, the slow sensitivity is annoying)

Any recommendations? I'm more of a stealth aggressive player. Like killing 1 or landing shots first then rotating a lot to get a good position to be aggressive.

Silenced winfield (FMJ bullets) and a saber. Good cheap stealth build to start a free character with. Upgrade as you go.

-stealthy
-good against AI
-short to med. 2 shot potential.
-headshots up to near 100m

If stealth and rotations are the idea then the above build suggestion is great. I'd encourage you to consider bringing a silenced Nagant with poison ammo to quickly and more quietly deal with things like armoreds who happen to be in your way and throwing axes to give you one last quiet option to quell any noise traps.

But I'd also like to suggest another approach to stealth: ambushing!

My preferred solo approach right now to is to rock a shotgun, a pump if I can afford it (I prestige a lot so I never have much money), and hard commit to a fight in a closed-in location like a building. Invest in noise-killing traits, rock the previously-mentioned poison ammo silence Nagant (or a hand crossbow), pick your way toward a group (ideally if they're in a building), then jump them. It's amazing how much people panic and literally let you get away with murder. (And if you have a hand crossbow with fire ammo you can even effectively deny necros and self-revives)

One favorite loadout I have for solo is offficer carbine HV + officer HV. You'll want to get a cheeky headshot to start the fight then you have 6 more shots to spam down the other team members. You can switch the officer to a silenced nagant if you want to be more stealthy, but I like the officer for another quick 7 shots. As long as you can reposition well to force 1v1's, the volume of fire gives you a huge advantage.

Another one is vetterli(silenced or not) HV + hand crossbow half normal, half dragon's bolt. HV vetterli gets easy headshots, the normal bolts are basically a shotgun and the fire bolts have unmatched utility right now. If you burn a bar the vetterli will one shot to the torso.

I also second prioritizing necromancer, lightfoot and silent killer as a solo.

crown and king+uppercut+vitality syringe+frag nades+necromancer perk. play only after you filled your roster with perked soul survivors.
