What you should be asking is if they can make another game mode. A separate game mode called "Compound Shootout" where it spawns in two teams of opposite side of compound with basic gear and it's five minute timer and a 4v4 . This would be fun to play when I'm taking a break from Bounty Hunt. But the problem is a mode like this might become way too popular and threaten the main mode of the game.
I disagree and I'm sure most if not all of the Crytek Partners who play this game religiously would also disagree. Half of the time when there's rats, I just walk away from them with the bounty and in hand and extract since most of them don't even get to the bounty first because they're ratting so hard they slow themselves down. The problem arises when there's multiple rat teams at the bounty lair and you literally can't go outside without getting shot.
I would agree that a new gimmicky game mode such as Gun Game or something would be nice, but that doesn't really fix the problem since I want to play Bounty Hunt mainly.
But yeah, there is a reason for soundsystem and all the sound traps.
Every element of the game encourages a careful silent approach as well as good observation skills.
Running is always a risk but sneaking might make you an easy target and will slow you down.
What you do with that is up to the players.
Then just wait for them to bump into eachother and start fighting so you can make a move?
Could take a while but it's either that or running out into a hail of bullets.
Or rich noobs that actually care about the bounty, killing the boss and running away with it. No need for a kill…
