MMR check after patch?
The old manual check of the attributes file appears to not work anymore? Is there a new way or are we meant to not be able to see this information anymore?

I don't think you were ever meant to see the mmr value in the first place. Wish you could though.

use huntplayers.com to find your mmr and every players mmr that was in the match with you. You just drag and drop your attributes file and it loads everything up for you. I made a shortcut on my desktop to the folder the attributes file is in so I just drag and drop in between matches.

wouldn't this not work since that data is no longer stored on the attributes file?

It is still in there. Just harder to find. And huntplayers still works fine. I reported a couple matches tonight.

Edit: they are also adding the maps, a measure feature, and a damage calculator feature, I think because Huntmaps.com is gone. It is a work in progress right now.
