Getting shot from far distance in Fog

I don't understand how players see and shoot me from so far every single time I'm on a fog map, but I can't see anything on my screen to save my life. Curious if anyone else is experiencing this? I'm wondering if there's players that are doing something to see better in fog. I gave fog maps enough tries but it's always the same story - players shooting me from distances I can't see them whatsoever in. I'll never understand this.

Don't play maps that you don't want to, you don't have to justify it. This is a video game and you should be engaging with it in ways to entertain you, not as a chore.

I personally love fog maps, but I will always instant leave if I load in and it's DeSalle, I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate DeSalle.

Crytek keeping in being able to DC without penalty before the match officially starts is about the only good thing they've done in a long long time.

Night and fog maps are the best though. The concealment is the best.

I had the same journey OP and I now leave aswell when it is fog map.

So ignorant to how things work that’s the only defense you have and it’s still wrong but I enjoy the cheater boogey man that runs rampant on these forums. More of a joke than Reddit warriors.

It's called Reshade, it lets you remove the fog so you can see clearly. This is of course 100% fine and Crytek approved so you should just go ahead and install it, lets you see like its day in dark maps, and comes with a zoom feature as well to let you zoom in even further.

It's great for cheating in Hunt but not classifying it as cheating for some reason.

There is no cheater boogey man, there's over 500+ players banned bi-weekly for cheating.

There's multiple videos showcasing cheaters.

Nice projection though, you might trick the stupid ones.
