maybe they dont plan to.
Let them burn.
Personally I even bring them in solo, it's really nice to be able to choke off exits/windows to shut-down flanks and such.
Because If I perform poorly and my partner does well (or vice versa) our MMRs will become more different. Therefore future games my partner will find it too easy and I will find it to tough (or vice versa). With complete randoms, I'm always grouped with someone who matches my MMR, no matter if my MMR gets higher or lower.
I'm probably in the minority here, but I much prefer playing with randoms.
Most people don't ask though they just dodge.
Are you actually asking btw, or are you phrasing it like a demand or in some rude manner? If you are polite most folks should oblige and if they don't, just dodge, no one should have to play with folks acting so egregiously.
Tbf if you are playing with teammates, and one of them asks you politely to bring a choke though, you should.
There is a difference between asking for them to be a team player, and asking them to change their actual load out, weapons, etc.
If they are running a trap build they might not have chokes though, so be understanding with some things like that, but asking folks to bring chokes is totally understandable and if you can establish good communication like that before the match has even started- you'll probably synergize very well in game.
