Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age
Is there any plans, or ideas of making a offshoot that would be something like the original concept Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age? I hope I'm not the only one that was looking forward to that game.

no plans. just play "remnant from the ashes", its basically what that "hunt horrors of the gilded age" evolved into.

Legitimately what Wolf said here. The original design and development team of Horrors of the Gilded Age started Gunfire Studios and built Remnant: From the Ashes. Even the name is poetic if you consider that it's the original game design rebuilt in a different theme.
Remnant: From the Ashes looks interesting but the theme is 'another' post apocalyptic game. I would have liked it better if it stuck to the late 19th / early 20th
Century Gilded Age period. Oh well it still looks great, and is worthy of buying.

Ehn, that detail was probably locked into copyright and whatnot with the Game Design Document at Crytek and something they would've pushed back on it. It's easy to sue for things that are seen rather than things that are done so themes are better changed even if the mechanics remain identical. It's probably also why, among many reasons, Remnant also uses Unreal rather than CryEngine.

More likely the case which is why Remnant had to go the route it did and still looks great. We have our Gilded Age period horror in Hunt: Showdown which despite some flaws is an overall amazing game.
