HAHAHA "ray tracing" HAHAHA ...

Have fun with 30 FPS

Further they should focus on the terrible cheater problem right now. Its more worse then ever before. Nearly every game suspicious moments - it never was so bad in my 2,5k hours like it is nowadays.

Jup, cheating and kill trading is the worst stuff right now. Just had a game where I killed 5 people, but the last person kills me a second after they died... and as a solo thats it for me. Kill trading is making solo play SO frustrating right now.

From what i read on the live stream this was announced at they said "2023 is the year we will talk about an engine upgrade". Notice how it says "talk". They didn't say they were going to upgrade the engine, they said they will "talk" about it. So yeah, don't get your hopes up.

If it ever does end up happening I would assume we would get everything you talked about. DLSS and better graphics at the least. Rain is a possibility since they said they want to do more events like the wildfire, so rain, snow, ect...

Still having shadow and ray tracing problems since day one, unfixed. Shotgun blast to the head still doesn't kill someone in one hit. Wall Hackers are everywhere and seem to be multiplying everyday. Brand new $10 hunter every month without missing a beat. I'm starting to think the developers don't give a real ♥♥♥♥ about their game.

Yeah, I think announcing that was a bad idea tbh. I can't imagine it will be any time soon, I would be surprised if it was implemented before the end of 2024

So they nerf the graphics and overall server code ..... For out of ea launch... Now they are going to pretty much revert that with a newer engine that this team hasn't really worked with.... I mean..... This sounds likes it's going to be 2x server issues... But at least it'll be pretty..... ♥♥♥♥ PS4 and older Xbox gens though when it happens.
I'm sure we will get a lot of the pre ea shaders back topped with heavy dlss and Uber god rays....

well i mean upgraded servers is part of the plan too so you dont really have to worry about servers (unless they dont get servers that is capable of supporting such stuff (which is counter productive of a statment to make)

they are probably aiming for better optimisation more than anything else anyways

HAHAHA, some of us have 40xx cards and DLSS exists, wake the F up !
Only cheaters i encounters are idiots like you who have 0 skills and all they can muster is complain.

none of that, probably more complex skins and thats all

real question should be: how many new bugs will this update bring and how many years they will fix them then

The REAL question is:
How many threads will DeGreZet make?

Literally no one gets 30 FPS in this game. I'd imagine a mid-range PC gets 100+ FPS in this game on med to high settings. I run a mid to high-end system and never get framedrops/stutter. Might need to upgrade if you're getting anything below 60, let alone 100...

On my gaming PC - RTX 4080, AMD Threadripper PRO 5995WX, 64GB RAM @4800 MHz XMP, 4TB NVMe Barracuda SSD

If your specs are not these specs, consider upgrading. The game is well-optimized, just a lot of people who cannot afford an adult-level computer are having issues, sadly.
