Stab by throwing knife - how

How to stab with throwing knife ? Many times I see it on Youtobe done by Rachta.

PS. I can slash it I can thorw it but can not stab. Btw I play Hunter mode.

You need specific perk for it. Assailant for 1 perk point. It enchance your melee damage of throwing knifes and throwing axes, also it changes animation and attack moves for both of them.
