I am also annoyed by the hit registration were some shots should have hit or how it takes like 1-2 seconds before the game gives the hit marker or how me and my buddy will both keep getting the server connection error symbol at the top right despite being fine on discord or our OBS saying we have lost 0 frames in the passed several hours. It's a shame because I feel updating the servers would make this game so much better but they think updating the engine and it's graphics to the newest is a better idea even tho only like 1-5% of players will be able to run the game on highest setting to experience the new graphics and quality while 100% of players will run on lowest graphics because it's a PVP game and that is just what everyone does for the highest possible fps.
One can only hope that servers will also be updated but so far I think only the games engine was mentioned.
The game performance wise is a bit weird... Like, it's high performance cost yet it looks kinda vaguely ugly... Like an old dark souls game, the style is there but the fidelity just isn't quite, yet the performance hit is like it's a 2023 triple A title.
Certainly doesn't help that direct hits will whizz past without so much as touching my opponent, or "wallbangs" with bows/crossbows etc.
Nothing wrong with 30hz if you build your game right. Hunt uses very little down data.
CS:GO uses 64 tick and people non-stop whine about it.
League of Legends has 30 ticks per second and barely anyone complains (Despite it causing rather large issues in the game).
The big difference here is that tickrate matters a LOT more in FPS games, and 30 hz is not quite acceptable enough for what some people consider a competitive FPS.
Of course, the map is so large with so much going on that 60-64 hz might be unreasonable to ask.
Do you actually notice, how this guy is just personally insulting in so many of his posts?
"It's not the game, it is YOU who is too dump" - zero arguments, only fooling around
because this playerbase is buying all skins anyway, so crytec doesn't have to fix anything
Amazing content, new updates, fresh and good content.. but the basic, the roots of the game, D-sync, trades, connection, lags, hitreg is breaking this game in 2. If they dont fix it soon, when i mean soon is in the next 4 or 5 months.. prepare to see a death of a game, a game with this potential.. its pathetic.
Ah i see your back with your network expertise Duncan... Please tell us all how the fact hunt apparently sends very little data to a client(source?) has any effect on the (very low for a fps) number of times the server updates per second?
Anyone would think you have no idea what tickrate actually is... :)
"Hunt uses very little down data."
BRUH, hunt is demanding af, because it needs resources for character movement, mobs movement and also bullets(projectile) movement, so terrible, low capacity 30hz servers aren't enough
Clash of Clans in running on same servers as Hunt
I have observed it. And that is not the case.
Hunt has relatively small packets. That is how they get things done with lower tick rates. Similar to how Fortnight did it on 30hz.
Relative to what? How have you observed it?
You really have to back these statements or people just think you're a troll :)
Relative to the emails he's sent that tell him exactly what to say, along with a monthly deposit of 30 cents into his venmo to keep shilling for Crytek.
30 cents might not seem like much, but to Duncan, that's 1/6th the cost a small bag of Dorito's, so after half a year of constant shilling, he can once again keep his breath cheesy.
Cryteks too busy spending all the revenue they get from this games constant DLC, into trying their hardest to reboot the Crysis franchise, once again lol They've got bigger fish to fry.
