Push to Talk/VOIp no longer working?

I have recently returned to the game and noticed 2 things. First, I can't seem to get my mic to work reguardless of what I try in game. Second, I can't hear any other hunters speaking. Is the proximity chat broken?

I've also noticed I can't seem to even text chat with other teams anymore, or maybe they just never reply to me.

It is just something on my end, or is the proximity chat busted?

The Text chat works always for me. But a lot of times my mates wanna say something but i cant hear them. Dunno whats the reason.

I've been wondering about that. Every so often I will see someone's name pop up at the top right indicating that they have spoken nearby but I have never actually heard anything.

I know team text chat works fine, and I KNOW you used to beable to "hear" other team's text chats from like half the distance they could hear eachother, but I have tried talking to other teams with text as well and never heard back. It would be a shame if they removed "global-proxy" chat

Quite some time ago there was a bug where the game didn't properly use the input device. Maybe the same bug is back.

Lot of people were able to fix it by going to settings and changing the input device from "Default" to the actual device they are using. Even if they only have one input device. See if that works for you.
