They made Mountain Man Gay / LGBT in the new 1.13 Update

Crytek has officially outed the Mountain Man Legendary Hunter as a gay man. Mountain Man (Gay) now joins Lulu (Bi) and Viper (non binary) as Hunt Showdown's LGBT icons.

Anyone else find this decision to not be the correct one? Mountain Man since his release and inclusion in the game was never portrayed as a gay Hunter until this new 1.13 update. What they should of done was create a brand new Legendary Hunter if they really wanted a hunter to be a Gay representation. Using Mountain Man as a pawn and converting him to now be the Gay guy doesn't make sense for the character to me. This feels forced and like Crytek was desperate to create a Gay hunter because of Pride month.

he was always gay, he just recently came out as openly gay though. There are also a few other gay hunters we don't know about yet, because even they might not know it.

No he wasn't. There was no indication that he was gay before in any of his lore until all of a sudden now. Mountain Man was literally never portrayed as a "Gay" Hunter until this new 1.13 update.

Agreed. Don't know why they have to shove these politics down our throat. Hunt Showdown isn't the game for that.

Now they want to make sure all of us know that Mountain Man likes to get railed from behind and that he fancies sausage in his mouth. Bummer because this used to be my second favorite Legendary Hunter to play as when I'm not using Sheriff Hardin. I cannot support forced politics in video games so I will no longer be using Mountain Man.

I didn't say gay people existing is politics. This whole making Mountain Man gay randomly out of the blue because of Pride month is politics. It's all political points to push an agenda that no one asked for and it doesn't help the game or make sense at all.

The agenda being that every game NEEDS a gay guy now. Of course this happens during Pride month, too. Coincidence? Definitely not. Who asked to make Mountain Man gay in a game set in the 1800s? No one. Why was it done? For political points and to push an agenda. This shouldn't be hard to understand.

Then why not make a brand new Legendary Hunter with an original design and make him gay then? Why randomly tack this onto Mountain Man during pride month who has been in the game for years now?

Being gay in the 1800s was not a thing. The best you could of been was an extremely closeted gay guy. And that's it. Are you trying to rewrite history or something?
