The game is just very unoptimized, I tried playing Hunt on an GTX 1660ti and an RTX 3060 and it would still stutter sometimes.
Hunt is also CPU intensive, I tried playing the game through the years with an i5-8400, i5-8700, i7-9700, and a Ryzen 7 5800, it still lags.
It's playable on old gen consoles as well obviously, with hardware from 2012.
I have sometimes a similar problem on my RX 6600 when the game starts up the first time, restarting the game fixes the problem.
Other solution is to Install a fresh Windows copy, that should fix all of your problems as well.
Example of RX 580 running this game:

Its very worst optimization, Cryengine not so good like Frostbite (Battlefield 1, V), but these game has another problem - no anticheat systems.
GTX 1660ti with 6GB should enoght, but.. its Cryengine with laggy optimization.
I have RX 580 4GB, Ryzen 5 3600, 32GB RAM 3333MHz, SSD NVMe. So on my setup possible bottleneck for this game only videocard. But its OK that I cant set videosettings to Ultra or High, but its impossible to enjoy the game even on very low settings.
Hah dude, I saw that when streamer played. It's absolutely worstest game optimization.
But how I saw its low stuttering. On my videocard its stuttering all time after one match.. FPS 60+ but VRAM out of 4GB.. ( I tried VRAM settings level 70% - 80% - 90%), on 90% its unplayable.
Thx, stuttering, I get it.
I have been monitoring many times system resources, but main problem point that I saw - that stuttering start when game out of VRAM and begin use RAM for pre-loading. But its should not work for RTX 4090, where rare micro lags are too.
I am playing on Linux with gamemoderun, but I tried many times on Windows - same. Windows vs Wine only take me more FPS +3-5, but not solve stuttering. On very low settings I have about 55-80 FPS, so +3-5 FPS not reason for me to use Windows.
I just add that its not problem of videocard temperature, its OK - 75-83c
100 FPS on low settings, 75 FPS on medium, awesome.. Its more than enough for me. I have same but after last patches FPS drops and game start stuttering...
So I have simple question to CRYTECH - WTF Crytech? How you ruins game optimization???
