Did you?
That is a pretty wild video and shows that the game can be totally abused with EAC in place.
I can honestly say ive only experienced 2 cases of absolute 100% cheating in over 2200 hours but this video now makes me wonder, how many times has this actually happened to me over the years.
It's also making people aware that it's actually real. How common though is another question.
People always post hackusations with no videos and get called out for it. This is conclusive proof that it is happening and the fact they are playing on the servers that it bypassed EAC.
The more these posts get shared the more exposure it gets and Crytek feel obligated to do something about it. The Reshade complaints are a perfect example of action being taken due to the community pointing it out.
Is someone saying cheats don't happen? I have not seen it said.
The only logical reason the owner of this game would let these sites operate free and clear is if they were getting paid for it. This game still makes enough money to protect it imho, why don't they? cause they gettin paid in my personal opinion. *braces for shill response
Also why are you giving the cheaters free advertising if you hate them so much?
Here's the thing. 2200 hours doesn't mean anything against "Subtle cheats". Knowing your position and playing it off like they were just creeping and being observant. Head shotting you from X distance with iron sights. Etc. All while you're just like "Oh, fair, next game". It's more prevalent than most think. And all games have to do is do a game directory scan on startup. File that shouldn't be there from the checklist needed to play and launch? Sorry bud. No launching for you.
Just because someone killed you does not mean they are cheating.
"Little to no cheaters"
They announce ReShade is now an offense and is not allowed though and posts and comments left and right come cropping up saying they will just find another work around or another program. But yeah, little to no cheaters lol
Furthermore, ofc a cheat bypasses the AC thats normal. The question is for how long. Its a cat and mouse game and will remain as that for the foreseeable future. And this is true for almost any if not all online games.
