Aim trainers Kovaak’s/AimLabs
I recently started training in Kovaak. It would be great if someone could tell me what training programs you use to practice aim in hunt.
By the way, did you notice any improvement in hunt after aim training? After how many hours in kovaak? How often do you play aim trainers?

i don't use one but it wont help while aim in its own right is important in the end its positioning and outplaying your opponent that wins a match

if your predictable no am amount of aim will save you it just takes a good nade or even a bad peak from you or a good peak from them for them to kill you, you are reading the game wrong if you prioritise aim over anything else cause this isn't cs go the first person to shoot isn't the one winning a match

also a aim trainer wont help anyways because they don't have bullet travel time meaning no amount of perfect aim on an aim trainer will help with your need to lead shots

Don't use trainers but what I found most helpful is play guns that have similar muzzle velocities instead of switch constantly. Made my shots become way more consistent

I am not saying that position and movement aren’t important. However, you may always be in a good position, but if you miss your shots, an experienced opponent will always quickly react and just headshot you. You can never compensate bad aim with good peeks. But you can almost always win from a bad position if you can shoot well and react quickly.
Anyway, this is a shooter, and aim is one of the most important skills. Even if positioning and other things are more important, my thread is not about that. I want to learn to shoot better, enjoy flickshots, hit more consistently at 100m+ and stuff like that, you know.

Edit: you mentioned that aim trainers won’t help. Since this is one of thread questions, please clarify, is this based on personal experience or just a guess?

Aim trainers won't help you, this isn't a fast paced game where people are sliding or wall jumping.
What WILL help you is knowing is your favorite guns bullet velocity, and having a friend side jump constantly so you understand how to hit.

Another tip is to not fire the second someone shoots at you, give yourself time to aim even if you think you're going to die. Other than that game and map knowledge will carry you much much farther than aiming better ever will. Oh, also have your friend run around you and on different material types, knowing the sound of materials and where they are should always allow you to pinpoint people. GL

Aim Trainers won‘t help much in Hunt, since the „crosshair“/iron sight is placed differently and not centered and muzzle velocity is a real thing in hunt…. Playing with a friend in the shooting range will improve your aim tho

Aim train for what? Hunt's actual FPS movement is too easy if you compare it to ♥♥♥♥ like Apex. There isn't any difficult in game mechanics like bullet drop or recoil that you have to compensate for. You literally just point your mouse and click.
You're better off learning map/compound layout rotations and peeks which would help your more in gun fights.

Guys, thank you all for answers. But just to be clear, I have near 1000 hours and high5-6* mmr in hunt. I know maps well, understand the distance well based on the sound. Of course, I am not perfect at this, but that’s not what this thread about. To get better at positioning I just have to play hunt more, it is clear. But there is an options to improve aim while not playing hunt. This is what my questions about. I would like to find an answer from someone who spent some time in kovaak’s and can say based on personal experience. Certainly, I understand that muzzle velocity is a thing and crosshair is not centred, but if it were like in others shooters, I wouldn’t have created the thread. More so, at a distance of up to ~50 meters muzzle velocity of 600m/s can be considered as hitscan.

A lot of incels on here saying aim training won't help you, but it does. Think CS GO and Valorant. The training is essentially the exact same. It's all flicks and crosshair placement.

Why do people come on these forums and just say dumb s h i t like they think they know what they're talking about 24/7?

A lot of you need a reality check in life and I have no doubt that you'll get one with such a moronic mindset.

I have a friend who aim trains for Hunt and he's a beast. He has over 50k followers on TikTok currently. I could ask him about his training and message you through a dm. I wouldn't even consider sharing that kind of information here, with such morons that think aim training won't help them.

Classic Steam discussion where the question is attacked instead of answered. I dont use those softwares, but i could imagine u should pick modules which are based on micro flicks/small corrections since you are mostly holding corners, waiting for enemy peeks etc in hunt. Situations where due to sound you are mostly aware of eneny positions and can preaim at them.

Yeah, it's really weird for me. I assumed that thread will be left with no answers, because it is obvious that aim trainers are not so popular in hunt, compared to overwatch/apex/valorant. But the fact that so many people have come here to pass off their hypotheses as verified evidence is ridiculous. None of those who wrote above have not even tried kovaaks.

I understand that training is a long grind, and I wanted to see first real opinions of those who have already tried it for hunt. Apparently it was a bad idea. It might be worth a try on the kovaaks forum.

Wow, I'd really love to know what kind of practices he uses and how much time he spends on it. I'm trying Voltaic right now, but so far it looks like it's not well suited for a game like hunt. However, I do not know anything about it, maybe aim should be trained from all angles, not just specific aspects.

Whoever says aim isn't important is foolish. Just as foolish is the guy who says this game is way simpler than Apex because we aren't doing super human leaps and stuff.

Hunt is one of the few shooters with absolutely no hitscan weapons. Muzzle velocity is a big deal here. Most games have some sort of guns that are literally just point and click, no need to lead.

But it's also using wild west sort of guns. No one has ever seen a Western? You are fast, or you are dead. Most of hunt's encounters come down to who can land a flick shot faster. Sure, if you flank them or ambush them, you get a free shot. But once they know you are there, it often comes down to the both of you peaking, and whoever can shoot fastest and still hit their shot wins.

Yes, it's really very strange that many here believe that the aim has a secondary role. I don't believe that players rarely come face to face with an enemy hunter, when they can both clearly see each other and it all depends on who gets the headshot first. I have a feeling that my thread has collected all the fans of stealth, scopes and bushes, who wait 30 minutes and shoot only when the enemy stops. This is probably the only style of game where aim is not so important and your position is the crucial thing.
