Hunt: Showdown 1896

They HAVE to be turning off rain/night/fog
Come on! I'm in the heavy rain, peaking around a mud wall in a bush, and I get shot at by someone I can't see. I can only see the muzzle flash sometimes. But they can see me creeping in a bush?!

Tell me a story about how there isn't a glitch or 3rd-party software that does that, because I get shot at in fog and night when I can only see their muzzle flash and it's not even on the edge of vision, it's about 2x further than I can see.

I've heard it's called having an AMD GPU. Don't know from experience but I keep hearing the rain doesn't work for a lot of people using AMD right now.
Reshade lets you disable fog/night/rain/flashes/chokes & zoom in like your iron sight is a scope

probably reshade, there are videos on youtube that show what can be done with it if you know the settings and the effects are honestly staggering

because of the constant claims with Reshade would go something like this I have tested it myself.
IT DOES NOT WORK.

There is in Reshade the filter "DisplayDepth" which changes the graphics to a "textureless" but glass-clear view. In conjunction with the monochrome filter you can see everything super easily...theoretically. It only works in the menu and the trails.
In the Quickplay and the Bountyhunt you simply see nothing. The screen is just black or white (depending on the setting).
I could not find a way to make the filter work in MP. It's as if the game simply puts a screen that is only visible for the display depth into your field of vision in multiplayer.
So please stop simply repeating things without even trying to verify these claims.
at least a month ago it very much worked

Sorry,
I withdraw my statement for the time being. I just remembered that I had also tested HUDsight at the same time. maybe it was also because of that.
I will test it again tonight and then either repeat my statement or crawl to crosses :D

PS. I do not want to lure anyone here to play unfairly. If such funtkionen bring such great advantages, this should be prevented by the game.
DisplayDepth I would call 100% cheating.

This video shows all the stuff I mentioned, except not rain (but rain is just fog that looks cooler so I see no reason it would be different):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJLOzhtomdI

Idk what that guy who deleted his comment was talking about. Seems he realized he didn't know either and that's why it's gone.

As I said, I noticed a glaring error in my test right after I sent the post, so I deleted it immediately. Stupidly, in the meantime it was already reacted to. My mistake.

I posted my comment at the same time as your followup so yours wasn't there when I wrote it.

Anyway. As seen in the video, it did not work for me. At least not in the multiplayer modes.
But will test it again without my "test error" and evlt create a video so you see what I mean.
If it works like in the video that you posted it is definitely cheating and should be punished.

It is even worse. You dont need to cheat to get the "no rain" bug
Yesterday I got it and im only using hunt settings. Im not even touching my graphic card software engine

The modern gamers became such lame losers, they always try to find some kind of advantage either by blatant cheating or other type of shady advantages that are not "illegal". Why can't you simply play normally and fair? I can understand those who want extreme good looking graphics but this aint it. They know what they are doing and why. Really sad.
