Sometimes, deleting the USER folder in your Hunt directory will fix those issues. If you decide to delete it, make you you screenshot your mouse/graphics settings as those will be reverted to default.

Banner one is common. Be thankful you don't get other random stutter, like when in a fight...

As someone already said above, stuttering in this game is very common and 99% not on your end. Especially the stuttering when entering a new compound happens to me frequently, even with a considerably more powerful rig.

Someone already mentioned the USER folder fix. This can help sometimes, especially after patches, although I wouldn't hope for anything crazy.
An engine update is officially being worked on now, which might solve some of these problems. This won't come anytime soon though. Until then, it seems like we'll just have to put up with it.
we will see is something changed after reinstall...
i will report
ok it is a bit better.. the stuttering when new areas compouns loading and the Banner poped Up the stuttering are much better... in some fighting scenes there still heavy laggs freezes.. can thats be becouse i must play with WLAN?

Maybe, but a strong WiFi 6 or higher signal with no interference is almost as good as cabled. It's the game/servers.

Simple question and answer. Getting it in other games? If the answer is no then it's not your end.

So yeah, the game engine is trash and so are the devs, well not the devs, they are just people trying to earn money but ppl behind them, well they are trash. Only developing cosmetic stuff when the games breaks itself.

I know they said they were working on it, on 2021!! So we can assume that they either forgot or the game is so broken that with 2 years of dev they couldn't fix it.

For those wondering about my specs:
- Ryzen 5600X
- RTX 3070 Ti
- M.2 NVMe 1TB Drive
- 64 GB RAM DDR4 3200MHz

Yet still getting stutters, while in teamfights or changing compounds. I've been monitoring my connection to see if that was the issue, nothing, ping 100% stable for the whole game yet getting huge half a second freeze.

I've been playing this game for over 2 years, getting these stutters randomly in a third of the games. I've changed my internet connection and also my computer several times and nothing seems to fix the issue. Same thing with some of my friends, getting random stutters from time to time.

I'm leaving the game for a few months. Losing a fight because the game decided to start stuttering is not fun for me.

It started around September 2020 for me. My memory is terrible, but there was even a time where event items would cause little stutters when you collected them. What's odd is that people report it at various stages of the games life. They've been aware of it for however long it has been around. They even added that VRAM option back in 24th February 2021 to combat it.

That was the only time I recall evidence of them actually doing anything, and not just words in random patch notes: https://huntshowdown.fandom.com/wiki/Update_1.5

People are probably going to call your system a potato and to get Intel, or dated cringy advice as though we're in the early 00s, and as though most people don't know the first thing about computers. --- Despite the fact the game only really needing a 8700k and a GTX 980 give or take on release.

i posted this a few days in the forum, finaly my performance issues came to an end:
2020 to Febr. 2023 Hardware: Ryzen 9 3900x , 32GB DDR4 , Geforce 3070, m.2 Samsung HD.

Max details in setting my fps in years (no hardware changes)
2020: 120 - 144 FPS
2021: 95 - 115 FPS (after hunt patches)
2022: 80 - 110 FPS (after hunt patches, suttering at sound and minifreezes. -> unplayable for me)
2023 -> went to minumum Details: 90 - 120 FPS with stuttering , microfreeze continued.

what i tried: reinstalled hunt, reinstalled windows , changed internet , changed to gaming laptop with equal hardware -> no fps gain, nothing solved my perfor, ance problems.

last week i went to Hardware: i9 13th gen. / 32GB DDR5 / 4070 ti , my windows and hunt installation are complete same because i just cloned the installation.

Full Details on Hunt: 144FPS max (monitor 144hz) , NO FPS DROPS , NO microfreezes , no stuttering on sound...nothing.

So for me its proofen that hunts performance went down since 2020 in a way that unbelievable bad.
i didnt have any troubles at any other game.

Just with (for me personal overkill hardware) i managed to get the fps back which i had in 2020.

good work devs!

good work devs!
let's see how long it lasts, keep posting as times goes by.
my average FPS if i do not limited it at 70-90FPS
is 80 - 140Fps.
bevore i upgraded the CPU from Ryzen 5 2600 to Ryzen 5 5600x
the game was stuttering a lot if i dont limited the FPS to 60- 75 FPS becouse the Videocard was to fast for the CPU...
But now is the ballance between CPU and GPU ok the Videocard most Time works at 80-100%

i believe now that al Intel CPU User have a Bonus becouse the Game is optimzed for Intel.

I dont know how much % of Hunt players using Intel or AMD.. but i am pretty shure thats a lot of players use a AMD CPU with this handycap ,,, in my circle of friends most use AMD CPU.

crytek must work hard to make the game playable for AMD users as well

I fixed it by changing the Video Memory (VRAM) Usage target in the in-game graphics settings to lower, it was at 90%. I had high fps but experienced stutters
