So, the math is correct, but how the numbers seem to be calculated may not be correct, given my limited experience and observation.
1.45 KD
Play a game
Get 2 kills, one assist, get downed once.
This is 3 kills and one death, according to KD math, so my KD should increase as 3:1 is higher than 1.45
My KD on the post-screen decreases
Hence, the post.
Ah understood. Either a bug (not many of them in hunt ;) ) or the people you killed were red skull revives. Iirc they don’t count as “kills”
But you know what? Forget about KD, play for fun.
Is the Formular for determining your „KDA“
You receive an assist if you dealt damage to a player who died with your hit not being healed off.
Even 1hp damage counts as an assist if that 1hp did not get healed at the time of death.
A kill is every final blow onto an enemy player that is not redskulled.
So each time you actually do „remove“ a healthchunk off of a player.
And a death is whenever you die, I am fairly certain deaths to count if you are redskulled, wouldn’t vouch for that tho.
Not quite correct on how assists work. 1.6.2 made assists count based on the distance to the player you damaged. See below:
