No idea what causes the bugout, but it happens every so often.
The Developers issued a notice that you should not do this. They system is designed to progress to the end. And it is no indicator that your match will not have players in it.
I can confirm this. I get plenty of good games while letting the match making timer run to the end of 5 minutes. (happens in the early morn)
Its mostly luck in a low pop environment you cannot influence it by interrupting the match maker.
there should be a mark to the players if they want to allow early start or not then people wouldnt cancel at 90%
the issue is no one is botherd even when its only half full as there is nothing going on and most people actually want the active side of matches not just to camp
Not really, the Developers clearly stated this is not how their system works.
And I can confirm it.
Its become a joke now among us. When the timer gets to the end, we sometimes make the remark that "we REALLY should leave! the match! they told us it will be empty!....."
Then we get in, and there is players, and we have a good match...
I let the bar get to 100% three times in a row and every game was an empty lobby. I have screenshots if its hard to believe.
You can go listen to the Devs say it in a live stream if its hard to believe.
For Duncan, the devs seem to be some kind of Authority. Wouldn't wanna write what they are to most of us, I guess
I didn't think it needed to be said... If there is no one to play with, there is no one to play with. And nothing is going to change it. Then there is bad luck, might be a full match, but you are the odd one out.
Take this morning as an example. here it is nearly 11am and the servers on the west coast are still low pop and some matches are empty. Normally it would be hopping by now.
TLDR some days are slow.
YOu need to learn how to evaluate things yourself instead of always taking the words of strangers.
We all experienced first hand the increased odds of an empty lobby when the timer is maxed.
Stop being such a dense tool.
I have indeed evaluated things.
What the develpers say, lines up with what I experience.
Why should I doubt the veracity of what they say?
And that is not even bringing into it that they built the system.
interesting. Wheres that link from the devs saying that maxing the queue timer does not increase the odds of being in an empty game. It obviously does. I mean thats the whole function of the system. In this game and ALL matchmaking games.
