Not getting xp towards dark tribute
Just had a game with with banish, 1 kill and the extraction but no xp for dark tribute
Is that a bug or am i missing something?

How much bloodline XP did you get? A portion of that is what goes toward tribute. If you have a higher ranked hunter, it doesn't always get a lot of bloodline XP.

Went from bloodline 38 to 39. But i have noticed my friend gets alot more than me, but now i think its just bugged as i didnt get a single point of xp

If he is bloodline level 50, alot more of his XP goes toward the tribute.

Bloodline xp towards tribute is earned from a few sources. Bloodline envelopes. Leveling a hunter passed certain milestones in their levels, and the bloodline conversion of xp for a dead hunter.

Hunters that reach level 4, 9, and 13 earn 250 bloodline at each of those. Then when they reach 19, 26, and 35, they earn 500 bloodline at each of those. At 42 they earn 750 bloodline, and if you max a hunter to 50, you get 1000.

So a hunter from zero to 50 earns only about 4000 bloodline xp.

As for xp earned from a maxed out hunter, that is all directly converted to bloodline xp, but lately it does not seem to contribute towards dark tribute at the same rate. So a level 50 hutner has not been helping me get dark tributes.

As for a hunter dying, any xp earned in the hunt before their death is halved and then all of that is counted as bloodline and does contribute to dark tribute.

If I have a level 50 hunter I can usually complete the whole dark tribute in 4 or 5 games. Depends on the game, I had one today that I had over 5000 put toward tribute and completed two in one game.

It seems kind of ridiculous that all the XP a level 50 hunter earns does not go towards dark tribute xp at the same rate that it goes to bloodline xp. Pretty annoying - although it is fun just kind of wandering around the lonely parts of the bayou killing monsters :3

Yep, would be nice to have all XP count, seems to be about 1/3 most of the time.
