Yes, that's meta in the lower brackets because players dont even have to aim.
I've killed some people by dodging their Chain Pistol fanning and hitting them with a knife, sometimes I feel like Neo or that Gunkata guy.
But does not happen often especially if their two other teammates are shooting you with their own fanning and chain pistols from two other directions.

a long time ago the chain pistol with fanning was a thing.

but they nerfed it so much. it dosen't need another nerf. guns like normal conversion are muuuch better for fanning

Chain pistol fanning is objectively the worst fanning and a noob trap. Its among the slowest and least accurate.
