Only headshots since event started...
DOnt know whats wrong or different, but since event started, now is only headshots, people never fail, is always headshots...is getting ridiculous, even at very high distances...

Define very high distances. Maybe provide some clips.

Almost garuntee the event starting brings back veterans or encourages players to play better, and some of them rise to the challenge and excel, others come to the forum to whine.

same here buddy, even if all they can see is my butthole they manage to headshot me

Its more likely you are just being headshot, nothing sus about it at all
best thing is when you get killed with a headshot by someone with 3 deaths and 8 kills who headshots every single player but misses 1-2 times almost every time on AI....

Its your game mechanics. It needs to improve.

Best way to avoid getting headshot is to not stand still. Most people wait to shoot until you stop moving to get the surprise headshot. You can jiggle back and forth or do small circles when peaking a window or in a gun fight. Never run in a straight line to a destination anywhere. You need to make them use skill to aim instead of getting easy taps on a predictable and stationary target.

Second way to avoid getting headshot is to not give enemies opportunities to see you. When you run around.. always have obstacles to block you from as many angles as possible. When you run to another compound and are in-between, use trees and other obstacles as cover as you move around the map. If they can see you half the time as you are in-between trees, thats giving them 50% less chance to take a shot at you.

Last tip is when fighting one person, always be aware there are other people looking at you from different angles. When you take shots at enemies, be fast and try to only peak one person at a time. Good luck

Basically, Starliner is right in everything he says. But in fact, I also make this experience every event. As soon as an event starts, everyone just hits everything. It's a bit strange. Somehow the matchmaking seems to run a little slanted. Is the event over it runs better again.

This game is full of cheaters with aimbot. You move in random directions? Headshot. You hide behind building? Headshot. You jump and your head is higher in air? Headshot. Hunt Showdown daily basis. Today i got headshotted from duals within 76 meters haha, and he just see me for like 0.2 second only. Nice aim. Nothing is impossible for aimbot.

We have to get used of that. Crytek has totally no clue how to manage online game. That's why we have what we have, top1 bugged and hacked paid game on Steam.

It won't work against all seeing eyes with 100% perfect aim help. trust me. It helps vs fair players i agree, but cheater will get you anyway. Too bad this game is full of cheaters.

UPDATE: Just played another game, got headshotted within 167 meters when i was hiding behind a tree+bushes. 5 seconds later my teammate got headshotted inside a building behind a wall also from 100+ meters...

Hunt Showdown hacks in a nutshell. Meanwhile Crytek releases another skins for $$.

Some evenings I get scared to even move around because the second I see somebody I get an headshot. headshots are so common that they should rethink the dmg multiplier

My friend. Stop trying, on steam forums people are only here to complain about their lack of skill and this obsession to whine is probably due to some social problem that they won't accept, leave them alone :( that's the only place they have to feel important

Ive noticed this too. I only die to headshots during the event and its a lil sus

Full of cheaters during the event. It's more noticeably at the lower brackets because they do things no one other player in those brackets do, all on new accounts or accounts with KDA lower than 0.50, so you have a 2* with 0.40 KDA, half of that assists, wiping an entire server and wallbanging headshots like Rachtza.

These morons thinks they are so smart being lowkey and not insta wiping the entire server but they fail to realise at 2 and 3* no one wallbangs, like EVER, but they suddenly play like those streamers they probably watch who are 6*.

You also have the "new" accounts of players who set up traps everywhere even though they are supposed to be new, they know all the map angles etc. and can kill the boss in 1 minute tops, but "new" as well.
I report those as cheating too for smurfing/sandbagging.

Omg I hate these events so much.
