Legendary Hunter Event Bonus

So, there are quite a few Legendary Hunters that have a predetermined pledge (as that plays in to the lore somehow, but idk much about it since I haven't really been following it), but only some of them give a bonus to Event Points.
Why?
Is there a lore reason for that, too, which determines which Legendary Hunters get that bonus?

It sucks enough already that they have a predetermined pledge, if I want to maximize Event Point gains I'm limited to only playing those few skins that have the bonus, and of those that I habe unlocked they both have the same pledge, which bars me out from playing with the two other pledges available, less I want to forgo the bonus points.

The event is about killing Mr. Chary.

Ochenkov’s Widow is basically the possessed right hand of Mr. Chary.
Skinflint basically does whatever Mr. Chary wants in the believe it's for the right thing. He has a lore entry in the event i just unlocked (lore #6)
Witch Hunter hunts witches- and Mr Chary is a warlock more or less.
Frau Perchta I think has a split personality, which divides her and is why they are "grounded" pact- also because they are the new holiday themed DLC so I mean we knew that one would be in there.

I don't entirely know about the others really though. They may be in lore entries i do not yet have unlocked.
