Challenges alone are enough to complete the battlepass.
You have 2 months to complete it.
People need to stop giving out this advise. That's the biggest lie ever. Last event was the first event I tried to "play normally" and I only managed to get to level 13.
This event is even worse because there are almost no items spread around to farm, so Im forced to go PvP and hope I can wipe an entire instance before i get the chance to loot. Because I could be getting 5 or 6 kills but I get ZERO points for PvP ... unless I go over to the bodies and loot them for points.
I've played for 3 hours today so far, and Im only at 126 points - ZERO of those 126 were from PvP because I died before I could wipe out absolutely everyone around me so no looting. All I did was pave the way for others to get points from my kills.
I mean you get like 800 event points per pip on the challenges thingy. That's not to mention all the points you get naturally from playing the game. Then you add the 10% bonus from the skin and another 10% from signee. This one actually seems easier than the snake event because you can just play the weekly challenges for 4-5 weeks and be done
Problem here being that you can only get the points from certain tasks while other games just make it overall EXP gained.
I guess I underestimated the player skill (or lack thereof sometimes) for newer players. I feel like most of the stuff I've seen so far have been things that will naturally occur in the game if you just ignore it. I haven't really had to go out of my way to do anything weird so far.
The challenges I hate are ones that the quest lines had. Like kill 3 beetles or like 15 hives on fire with fire ammo. Stuff like that is hyper specific an kind of takes me out of it, even if it isn't hard; I just don't want to play like that you know?
100m head shots, 800dmg to players with rifles, Kill 4 Immolators, etc. are all pretty natural things that just happen when playing hunt. I feel like I can always do 2-3 things out of 4 any given game without having to bend over backwards load out wise.
