Slow battle pass progression(?)
Hello everyone!

The battle pass progression feels really slow for me.

In other games I played at this pace already completed 2-3 levels but here I'm only close to level 1.

Am I doing something wrong or missing something?

Thanks in advance.

Play objective, be fast & effiecient, complete the weekly challenges.
Challenges alone are enough to complete the battlepass.

Pretty much just play the game as you normally would and do the objectives as you normally would do, the only difference really is there's less reason to run the gauntlet now, get your 30 free points while you can. Additional tips would be to just kill the bounty if you didn't get to the boss first (which is still normal gameplay but I guess there's more reason to do it?) Bring some kind of anti-boss weapon or a sticky with you (poison is good too). Buy Signee as fast as you can along with Vulture (and don't prestige during the event, you will need poison ammo for certain challenges and Vulture will help you out a lot if you come to a fight late.) Get team mates to cover you and try and loot soon after a kill if you can for a bonus 12 points. If you don't have an event hunter you can buy some of them for Blood Bonds, not all of them are DLC. Always run event hunters as you get a passive 10% buff to points and it also stacks with Signee up to 20%. Focus boss fights and getting out with bounty, but you were probably already doing that since that's pretty much the sole objective anyway. Avoid playing passively as you will just burn up chances to get easy points, it's better to be the most active team in a match and get a lot of points but end up wiping than it is to play passively and play a full 45 min match, survive, and barely get any points while other teams are playing 2 matches in that time. You keep event points on death!

Event just started.
You have 2 months to complete it.

With the weekly objectives it goes preety good. Level 4 here. My Aim is bad today sooo.
Just win and kill 1-3 teams. You go up like 3-4 levels in the early part.

You need a total of 50000 points to get all event rewards with 63 days in total to do so, IF every level is 1000 points (for a total of 50 levels), so if my math is correct you need around 800 event points per day to get it all. Seems way more grindy than past events for when you needed roughly 400 points a day. This makes it even harder considering most of us casuals won't be able to play much during holidays. PLUS there doesn't seem to be any contracts to boost the event point gain this time only the signee trait for 10% boost. :steamsad:

62 days is a long time. I usually take a month or so.

People need to stop giving out this advise. That's the biggest lie ever. Last event was the first event I tried to "play normally" and I only managed to get to level 13.

This event is even worse because there are almost no items spread around to farm, so Im forced to go PvP and hope I can wipe an entire instance before i get the chance to loot. Because I could be getting 5 or 6 kills but I get ZERO points for PvP ... unless I go over to the bodies and loot them for points.

I've played for 3 hours today so far, and Im only at 126 points - ZERO of those 126 were from PvP because I died before I could wipe out absolutely everyone around me so no looting. All I did was pave the way for others to get points from my kills.

I mean you get like 800 event points per pip on the challenges thingy. That's not to mention all the points you get naturally from playing the game. Then you add the 10% bonus from the skin and another 10% from signee. This one actually seems easier than the snake event because you can just play the weekly challenges for 4-5 weeks and be done

The challenge system is complete ♥♥♥♥ compared to previous summons. You can't pick what you want to do and are forcibly feeded quests like headshot with rifle from 100M or pistol headshot from 50M that are quite hard to do especially by newer players. Heck even as I've played on and off since beta times I find these hard to do often. not to mention that there seems to be no way to ditch these quests that you don't want to do and get another. Atleast in summons we could choose what we wanted to go for.

Problem here being that you can only get the points from certain tasks while other games just make it overall EXP gained.

Thanks for clarifying about the boosters as I seem to have missed them. On a side note I find it funny that crytek introduced a nice "feature" regarding the battle pass that worked on first few hours (don't know if it still works) where you can go into in-game store page and tab for legendary weapons and unlock Smolder (centennial skin) and Dying sun (scofield skin) for free (0 BB). I even have a screenshot posted public in hunt community and in my profile about this if anyone is interested. Note I do not have any kind of battle pass myself (yet) and I admit I started spreading this information after I discovered it in about 5-10 minutes of event launch.:lunar2019coolpig:

I guess I underestimated the player skill (or lack thereof sometimes) for newer players. I feel like most of the stuff I've seen so far have been things that will naturally occur in the game if you just ignore it. I haven't really had to go out of my way to do anything weird so far.

The challenges I hate are ones that the quest lines had. Like kill 3 beetles or like 15 hives on fire with fire ammo. Stuff like that is hyper specific an kind of takes me out of it, even if it isn't hard; I just don't want to play like that you know?

100m head shots, 800dmg to players with rifles, Kill 4 Immolators, etc. are all pretty natural things that just happen when playing hunt. I feel like I can always do 2-3 things out of 4 any given game without having to bend over backwards load out wise.
