Anti cheat violation

Greetings.

I'm playing with a friend, and in the recent days we've both been kicked from hunts while playing with hunter lost each time, because of an anti cheat violation error. Neither of us obviously use any cheat, I use sweetfx for a bit of eye candy and he doesn't.

What could be the cause? Any of you had this problem recently?

If it was a glitch happening to people, more people would be talking about it. If it was a recent change, then people would be talking about it. If it was a false detection of some other software, people would be talking about it.

Right how, this is a case of only you and your friend having an issue. Which means it's something you two did.

Now quite possibly it is some update of some software that is causing issues for the anti-cheat. But that would mean it is software that is trying to affect Hunt files. The only things that affect hunt files right now are cheats, and Hunt.

Maybe you can verify files and try again, but more likely you are going to have to contact the support team and see if they have any idea why only you are getting this error.

sounds like a network issue. i used to get that error with a disconnect sometimes until my isp fixed my internet problems.

monitor ping and packet loss to help narrow down the issue. could be hunt servers suck for some at the moment.

Well, after the anti cheat message when I go back to the lobby I have indeed another message that talks about disconnect something.
Since the problem appeared for both me and my friend more or less at the same time I would tend to assume it is indeed a network issue, but if no one else is having the same error I'm not sure. I used to have severe lag problems months ago but I bought one of those things that deliver internet through the power socket and it fixed it.

Edit: Validating files succeeded without errors.
