Nitro not one shotting?

I just shot a team 3 times, one close enough for a shotgun to one-shot. I shot them in the upper chest, upper right shoulder, and once in the lower back. All within 30 meters easily.

if you shoot them in the chest at the guns specified effective range, they die. If they do not die, you missed.

Except its not over, because it still oneshots in the chest at up to 100m if you can aim and not hit limbs.

Yea ok chest, but you'll hit limbs most of the time.. IMO it should definitely do more damage with that trash sight and price. I've been playing a bit lately and literally haven't seen anyone using it.

I was getting hitmarkers, so I wasn't missing at all. If I was hitting limbs, well I don't think so because I shot the spine of someone. All I saw was their back. But maybe I hit a limb? It wouldnt make sense but it is possible

To be fair; nitro "only" oneshots to the chest to like 73m or so (if you use shredder).

NO. You hit limbs, simple as that.

The only issue is that I only saw a back of one of the people I shot. Now I wont say it is impossible for a limb to be hit somehow, but almost each time it shouldn't have been a limb shot.

i would claim the main issue with nitro is the casuall "not reloading properly" bug.

which has been "fixed" like 5 times now

Nitro ammo has really wonky modifiers depending on where you hit: Head: 2.0 - Upper Torso: 0.52 - Torso: 0.52 - Arms: 0.25 - Legs: 0.2
1 hit kill to body (full hp) - up to 42-43m (normal ammo)
1 hit kill to arms (full hp) - up to 16m (normal ammo)
Shredder ammo adds + 15 m to OHKO to upper torso\torso area AND can still penetrate surfaces (even brick fences - yes nitro can do this!) even by being special kind of ammunition
Hitting someone with the explosive round at any range do not 1 shot them despite it being a direct hit. BUT high ex ammo dont have any limbs damage reduction and dmg dropoff at distance and will 2 shot anybody if you can put 2 shots on the ground around their legs (at 1-1,5m radius). Also high ex ammo capacity is very low and replenished by only 1 per ammo box!
At 200 meters(normal\shredder) a headshot will still kill in one hit, but if you hit anywhere but the head you might as well be shooting at them with a Winfield.

That is what I thought, but since I couldn't see any limbs from the angle I just wasnt sure.
However, I was using the sights on some of them and well that sight is infamous for a reason.

nitro is my favorite and i have mastered it cause i use it so much. i promise you if you hit him in the belly button and up you will one shot. if you have shredder ammo then you can hit him in the limb or thighs and have him bleed out.

Yeah Nitro is trash compared to any other high end rifle or shotgun, not worth the money. It s worth using only as a shotgun but Crown King exists

yea nitro is scuffed, for the price it asks the fact that someone can do a wiggle dance and survive because the bullet hit hit shoulder instead of his neck is very fun
at least its decent at killing monsters i guess, and very good at wasting money
