Crossplay

This game desperately needs crossplay with consoles.
You guys should work on coordinating your patches and releasing them at the same time so we can play with our friends on crossplay.
Even if new patches delayed our abilities to play for 12 hours on the days of new patching, it would still be worth it.

As I understand it there is crossplay between consoles.
The problem lies in the fact that both consoles use very separate friend networks. So inviting across the two is at the moment, not possible. Someone needs an intervening network to do that and I am not sure crytek has the privilege's to do so. Since the consoles own their respective networks. It might be a permission problem.
They have expressed a desire to have it, but do not have a solution to offer.

That would not work out very well haha.

That is highly unlikely to ever happen unless they get very very desperate to maintain a player base- it would have to fall dramatically from where it is now.

big "NO'. Crossplay being implemented into every game they have done it in. brings about tons of problems, and people on console complaining that the big bad pc players are bullies with OP machines. So they have to turn the game down to accommodate for them. NO THANKS.

Console and PC use entirely different game versions

Console and PC would not be compatible, headshots are everywhere on PC, People on Console miss eachother at point blank range.

Console players would have a massive disadvantage in gunplay,

Console players would have a massive disadvantage in selection of healing items and tools because they can't use mouse buttons or hotkeys and have to use a wheel

Inviting people would be chaos

The servers are entirely seperate and probably would get even worse

PC players wouldn't want console teamates

They already get that on console, aimlock with close range and they still miss everything.

depends on the region but in EU i met like 4 cheaters in 2k+ hours of mostly 5 star. this game doesnt really have a cheater problem.

Accurate statement. Have 1.4k hours and have suspected only two, some clowns on these forums pretend they are in every match or every 2 matches.
