voice chat after death
I think voice chat should still be active after death for random team.

I play quite alot with blind people in this game, and would love to be able to tell them, that the hunter is right infront of their ♥♥♥♥ing eyes, 5 meters away, standing still, looking the other way.

but because i cant communiacte with them they dont see him.

Plus as most premades use discord for chat, i think this is fair

(To make it clear, i do mean when your downed and not completely dead)

think of it more as a ghost of a dead friend haunting you, kinda like Henchman 24.

They can't enable ingame voice after death because you can tell your teamate where you were shot from. It's both not fair and unrealistic.
Would a guy who was shot at 50m of you tell you where the ennemy is IRB (in real bayou) ?
But that gives discord teams a huge advantage on random teams.
So I don't know what is best...:steamhappy::steamfacepalm:

Oh yes, many times I've wanted to do that.
Considering that I am playing with random teammates with KD of 0.1 to 0.6 regularly I don't even wonder that bad things are happening, but it is very frustrating not to be able to tell them where enemies are clearly visible or clearly to be heard, or not to loot enemy hunters mid battle or not to revive me in the open without securing the situation first or not peeking the same corner 10 times in a row or not to sit/crouch in the open for several minutes... and a lot of stuff like that.
Very frustrating not to be able to help them.

On the other hand the only thing that fits this game, imo, would be some whispering coming from the downed body in game.

The downside would be that other people could abuse this system to heavily complain and scream at others.

Funnily enough I just had a game were the final encounter consisted of someone throwing a dynamite at me and me crossbowing him resulting in my team mate being the last player on the map. He proceeded to crouch walk around the compound for 20 minutes with me thinking about this thread the entire time :P

Pretty sure he meant "downed" VOIP, not "death". In which case you can´t tell where you got shot from any better than your teammates can, since you don´t get killview. And yeah, you get disadvantaged with random teammates, but that is the case with or without this feature.

Yes I meant you often know you were shot from the tower, or by melee, or you heard the silenced weapon left or right, and your teamate is 20m away so he doesn't really know what killed you and from where. So even without killcam you can help him although you're supposed to be knocked out.

That's why I find discord is a bit cheating, even more when you can look what's is in a bush when the player is aiming and concentrating at a window.

You also must not stay near the hunter you downed as if he uses discord he will tell his 50m away sniper teamate you're still near him.

If their wasnt external voice chats and it was the same for every team then id agree completely, but lets face it playing with randoms is a dis advantage in itself anyway, let alone without full voice chat

Fair enough, although save for being able to add your "opinion" on where you got shot from, and to specifically add the info that you got shot with <blank> from <blank> meters, you are not really adding anything but your own advice. Where you got shot from was clearly audible to your teammate as well, so he likely has an idea/knows, and if you are using DC, then you probably both already know.

I wouldn´t say DC is an unfair advantage, I would say not using DC is a stupid self-inflicted disadvantage at this point. You don´t even need to get irl temmates, just get over to the Hunt DC and find some there and bam, no problems with VOIP, ever. Besides, if DC and similar stuff was not meant to be used, then why would you not immediately see where you got shot from upon getting downed?
