I've got same CPU 1600 at same frequency 3.8Ghz with 5700xt similar fps at 2k 60-95
Wonder will 1700 oc to 3.8Ghz get better and stable frames since it have extra 2 cores/4threads?

Not really. I have a Ryzen 9 3900x at 3.8Ghz with a RTX 2070 Super and it's still all over the place. Anywhere from 100 FPS to 212 FPS (at the edge of the map, looking outward into nothing). Usually playing I bounce between 110-144 FPS.

RAM speed is going to have an efffect (run at least 2 sticks of course) .. effective cooling will help with boost clocks .. game installed on HDD,SSD or NVMe drive is going come into play with how well game performs .. and then what video card are you running with said 1700 chip... as well as what kind of pings you can get through your ISP. .. and lastly, Windows 10 64bit, and keeping drivers (chipset,network,sound,video,BIOS) up to date.

Nop.

2560*1440 => 3.7 millions pixels
3440*1440 => 5 millions pixels

37% more, it's just not the same (and not same performance (30% less, I try))

3440x1440 is still considered 2k .. it's ultra wide and requires more pixels, yes . .but still considered 2k :steamhappy:
