If you are familiar with the cheatin' world, and know where to look. Almost 100% of current hacks listed on even free sites are un-detected lol. Easy Anti-Cheat isn't doing anything anymore and even BattlEye is detecting more than EAC at the moment, which is a crying shame.
Can't say whether or not you encountered a true cheater, but there ain't much that CryTek can do about it anyway until they replace EAC or Epic Games decides they need more money and choose to pay attention to their other products on the market.
as i saw they still play months later with same cheat, i stopped everything with crytek support....its a waste of time.
well, it basically comes in cycles.... hacks will get out of hand and eventually a banwave will roll through and it will be happy hunting again for awhile. Which is one of the Problems with Hunt, not enough banwaves. Coupled with not enough actual anti-hacker feedback.
you will almost never see them below 5-6 star.
If you think you're getting headshot alot then work on your movement or check to see if you're having desync issues.
I think you're underestimating the ingenuity of cheaters. I'm noticing a trend among some (SOME not all) shady players to have sub 1.0 KD and 3-4 star MMR. My guess is that they're purposely throwing matches or working in tandem to lower the MMR/KD to nothing, then they go in and play like Archie on crack. This throws off the algorithm and makes it hard to accuse them.
Me and a buddy got sniped by a dual-wielder from 30M away @ slaughterhouse. The hacker was inside the cattle cage, my buddy got caught outside but I was inside by the window and he hit both of us with 100 percent accuracy, it wasn't spray and pray, simply 4 shots, 4 hits.
When we checked his stats it said something like 0.4 KD. Similar thing with other encounters where these "bad" players did impossible stuff.
You can say it's luck all you want but I will say to you what I say to all "Just luck(ers)" -- YOU CAN'T WEAPONIZE LUCK.
Luck is luck because it's random and not something you can control. We've all had lucky shots; hell I know I've probably gotten reported from some shots that I shouldn't have gotten, but could I repeat them? Absolutely not. Those are 1 in 100 matches sort of thing.
When you factor how cheaters work in groups, especially in Hunt which allows them to easily stack in a single server, what they do is wipe the server as separate teams, then down each other repeatedly over and over, red skull reviving then exit. Now their KD is 0.5 and it looks like they suck on paper.
