Lies about minimal configuration

According to the specs asked for the minimal configuration, my PC has everything it needs to run the game BUT the textures never loads. They only do if I'm at 1m. I really have the feeling of playing a PSONE game. Ennemies are also hard to find when everything at medium distance are just a mesh on indistinguable colors.

Asked for a refund but I played 3 hours instead of 2 while I was trying different configurations to make the game works. You're lying to your customer. Change your minimal requirement.

To anybody reading this: avoid this game if your hardware is too close to the minimal requirement. It's frustrating and unplayable.

I'm on a 60FPS 1080p monitor, upscaled to 1440p via Nvidia DSR technology. I run an i9 9900K stock, 48GB 2667MHz DDR4 RAM, an Nvidia RTX 3060 12GB GPU, 1.5TB 3-way SSD RAID 0 on Windows 10 Pro. Hunt usually runs at 60FPS pretty sustained at 1440p rez and on the highest settings. Motion blur, AA, and Teselation (sp?) are disabled. Game runs great but may dip down into the 50s FPS depending on things.

minimal configuration technically just means it RUNS, doesnt mean it runs pretty. just runs.

And what about your HDD/SSD? Is it enough good? Because no one ever takes into account the fact that his HDD has been crunching for two years.

upd: do this:
1) Open PowerShell as an Administrator and type these commands, using Enter to execute after each

powercfg -h off
bcdedit /set disabledynamictick yes

make a double reboot.

2) Enter your "BIOS", find and disable "Intel Virtualization Technology" (may also be called Intel VT-x or VMX) and disable it.

3) Lower your mouse polling rate to 125/250/500Hz (max), don't use 1000, 8000 and similar.


upd2: as a last resort
4) get InSpectre, run as an Administrator and click "Disable Meltdown protection", you may also do "Disable Spectre protection" as well because there is no sense to have it enabled without the first. Don't do this on a machine you work on or one you use to access your bank accounts.

Minimal/Suggested Requirements were from 2018/19 or even before.. they never cared to update them, despite hunt got more inefficient with every update.

Their copy apste "programmers" say they don't know where performance drops comes from - lmao

Minimal requirements should enable to play competitive - and that's an obvious betrayal here. Now people get problems even with rtx 3080 and similar.. not funny any more 😂🤣

Don't know if you know what you have in your hands, but before my 3080 I had a 1080ti and still TODAY a really powerfull gpu. Literaly is like a 2070 Super or a plain 2080 in some cases speaking about raw power. Except obviously you don't have DLSS.

So not to much sense to bring that card here, a 1080ti still godlike if you play at 1080p even at 2k.

This engine has lot of "little problems" of optimization, so no matter what gpu you have.

Obviously the most powerfull the better but in an engine like this and depend of the game, you mostly are going to have some kind of jiggly jaggles here and there.

Lot of people whining because they literaly don't have any clue about software/hardware/engines/dogs and they are trained just to cry for everything.

Set the grafic higher as long as you have around 60fps. Use 1920x1080 max.
If reducing settings does not help to get more fps, there is no reason to do it.

Running Win10 on a Crucial 1tb SSD

OK 12700k, 32gig ram, everything on an ssd, nvidia gtx 1080 ftw2, have the fps locked at 90 because if i unlock it i get over 100 but it fluctuates and that bothers me. if you read the forums you see a range of specs that run well and some that dont run well. There is issues with the game but also an issue with peeps not understanding what game engines do what. Like Cryengine uses your CPU and is hard on it. your GPU is not being stressed. my 1080 isnt even running at 70 percent power. This game uses your cpu and ram if your low on either you will have frame issues. 16 gig isnt going to give you stable frames in my opinion.

Installing another 16G won't help him. The best he can is just make sure RAM is running in dual-channel mode on 1600MHz with correct timings.
