Add own music to main menu!

The Hunt soundrack is awesome however I would like to replace some of that music with good western music. Have you people had similar thoughts? It is probably bannable rn but it would be so cool to add a feature that allows this wouldn't it?

I have had similar thoughts. To make me happy it would only need to be a basic music player with standard functions, nothing fancy. Should be one of the easier things to do I would think. And it gets asked about a few times in the suggestions discord (I even added one). I hope they consider it.

Did you know that Steam overlay has a music player? Mute in-game music and play your own music. Or simply use any music player on the background. Why does it need to be in the actual game? Just wondering..

I would like it to auto play without need for user inputs. Game opens, your selected menu music automatically plays.
That is what I prefer.

Well it's a company title, there is absolutely 0% chance getting this in game. All music is copyrighted what you hear in Hunt. Crytek would be essentially stealing if they didn't make a deal with other artists and played their music in a player.

I see where you are coming from, but Crytek cannot know if you have legally obtained copies of songs.

Alright, I'm gonna stop myself right here, I need to go to bed, I see what you mean now. I typed before reading AND understanding completely. I guess it just comes down to if it is worth allocating resources in to making a music player. This too still, I find it hard they would do that. But never say never right?

Quite alright. I doubt they will do it myself. But I still hope someone considers it. I think music is integral to a game, and letting the player customize the menu music is the same logic as a gift card at Christmas. The user will know what they want.
And it has the benefit of letting us remove any songs from hunts soundtrack that we do not like. I like most of them, but would cut out a few.
