Default Scottfield FMJ lose to Conversion FMJ almost at every moment.
But there is Spitfire with higher fire rate without Fanning, Swift with faster reload and 2-slots version with higher accuracy.
Scottfield is also unlocked from the start and you need 22 rank of bloodline for Conversion.
And you can use Conversion's ammo just for Winfield, while Scottfiled's goes for Centennial and Vetterli.
And there's this little moment with aesthetics and personal preferences of sights.
But like all other guns in the game it comes down to personal preference. Personally I prefer the Pax over the Scottfield because the Pax looks like the Colt Peacemaker.
